Atmosphere is amazing. Classy and tasteful. Service is excellent. Buttermilk biscuits were delicious. Oysters were fresh and clean. Steak tartare excellent. Cheese steak was great too but probably slightly overpriced. Def will be coming back
I’m a little late writing this review, as we visited Slim’s in May, but the experience left enough of an impression that I still wanted to share it.
We stopped in shortly after getting off a flight from NYC and, from the moment we arrived, were met by warm and attentive hospitality.

Our dinner at Slim’s was an amazing food experience. The salads, steak (prepared exactly how we wanted) to the delicious dessert - everything including the service - was on point!! Highly recommend!

Slim's is a restaurant at Bal Harbour Shops, taking over the old Aba space. The atmosphere is amazing, classy and tasteful. The location is beautiful, right in the stunning Bal Harbour Shops, especially gorgeous at night with fountains, lush landscaping, beautiful stores, and elegant atmosphere. The restaurant itself is beautiful and feels like a wonderful new addition to the area.
The service is excellent, with warm and attentive hospitality. The food is delicious and fantastic. The buttermilk biscuits are warm, soft, fresh, and delicious. The oysters are fresh, clean, small, and sweet. The steak tartare is excellent. The cheese steak is great and an absolute standout, though probably slightly overpriced. The crab cake is packed with real crab meat, though a bit salty. The chopped salad has a good balsamic dressing. The branzino is the star, fresh, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. The steak fries come with three sauces. The steaks are prepared exactly how wanted. The lobster, appetizers, drinks, and desserts are exceptional. The chocolate mousse is rich and light. The salads and delicious dessert are on point.
However, the noise was absolutely unbearable when seated next to the bar, requiring yelling just to have a conversation, which completely ruined the dining experience for some. Overall, Slim's offers wonderful food, memorable hospitality, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend for a special night out.
