“I had visited for my birthday and it was a great experience. Service was A1. I loved that they had live entertainment that night. Full service bar so you can literally get whatever drink you want. Everything we ate was literally so good. Best spicy rigatoni I’ve had, actually had a little kick. My only complaint is that they promote family style but those dishes are too tiny, nothing about it was plentiful enough to share.“

“I decided we would have dinner at Rick’s Steakhouse & Lounge for my husband’s birthday, and let me tell y’all… the funny part is we went through the WRONG door and walked straight into the Gentleman’s Lounge🥴😂😂

We asked the guy at the front door where Rick’s was, and he pointed us toward the other end. Since we could hear music, I asked him what was on the other side. He told us it was the Gentleman’s Lounge and actually gave us a little tour and showed us the way to Rick’s. Turns out, the Gentleman’s Lounge and Rick’s Steakhouse & Lounge are two separate spaces, literally separated by a door. So technically, we got a 2-for-1 experience 😂😂

Now, onto Rick’s! The restaurant is definitely a vibe. The dim lighting, music, TVs, and pool table make it the perfect spot for a date night or birthday dinner.

Okay, let’s talk about the FOOD! We both ordered the pork chops with peppercorn sauce and Parmesan mash. That pork chop was cooked to PERFECTION! It literally melted in your mouth, and paired with that peppercorn sauce… CHEF’S KISS! 😘🤌🏾

I let our waiter know from the beginning that it was my husband’s birthday, and after dinner, she brought out a fudge molten cake topped with ice cream and sparkles so I could sing Happy Birthday to him. 🥳🎂✨ That definitely made his night!

“I made a reservation for 9 people at 7:45 PM and arrived around 7:50 PM Thursday night but our table still wasn’t ready. We ended up waiting at the bar for about 20 minutes before being seated. Once seated, the food also took quite a while to arrive. I understand that a party of 9 can take longer to serve, but we also didn’t take long to place our order, so the overall wait was frustrating.

The biggest disappointment was the $80 cake-cutting fee. We brought our own birthday cake and simply asked the restaurant to cut and serve it. I completely understand having a cake-cutting fee for an outside cake, but $80 feels excessive — especially when that is essentially the price of a cake from the restaurant itself. On top of , our bill already included a 20% service charge.

My biggest issue is that this fee was not made clear to us beforehand. Had we known we would be charged $80 just to cut a cake we brought ourselves, we absolutely would have purchased the cake directly from the restaurant instead.

I was really looking forward to celebrating such a and unfortunately, the delays and unexpected charge took away from the experience. I hope the restaurant considers being much more transparent about these fees“

“Im so happily surprised with this visit! We haven't been in years. Last time we booked a reservation they cancelled it because the ac wasn't working. We truly walked in without any expectations. They asked if we were celebrating anything and we mentioned our daughters 7th bday. They set us up in a beautiful corner table in front of a window and had decorated the table with glitter stars and a happy birthday card just for her. Such an amazing and simple touch. Then the drinks came and they were beyond perfect. We also ordered the seafood tower, so fresh and full! Their salads were to die for and the porterhouse was outstanding! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was up to par with the food: just perfect. We will definitely come back. It was truly an unforgettable experience.“

“A Wonderful Evening at Blue & Livingston

We had such a lovely evening at Blue & Livingston on Saturday! From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by how clean, chic, and beautifully designed the restaurant is. It has such a great vibe and wonderful energy — a place where you immediately feel comfortable and ready to enjoy the evening.

The menu is incredible, and everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the ceviche, which was absolutely delicious, followed by the grilled calamari, which was equally wonderful. I had the Prime Hanger Steak, and it was fantastic. We also enjoyed the truffle mac & cheese, which was rich and delicious, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to finish the meal.

The only thing I would mention as a small area for improvement was the Old Fashioned. The presentation was beautiful, but it wasn’t really a traditional Old Fashioned. There were no orange, bitters, or muddled cherries, and it was served quite plain. Adding those classic elements would really make the cocktail live up to the traditional Old Fashioned experience.

Overall, we had a fantastic evening. The atmosphere, energy, food, and presentation were all wonderful. Blue & Livingston is a beautiful restaurant with an impressive menu, and we will definitely be back! ❤“

“Goriditos delivered one of the most satisfying meals I've had in Miami. From the very first bite, it was obvious that this place takes pride in every detail.

Before the entrée even arrived, I was treated to warm, fresh bread served alongside fragrant olive oil and a vibrant tomato purée that was bursting with fresh flavor. It was the perfect way to begin the meal, and honestly, I could have kept eating it all evening.

Then came the ribeye, and it absolutely stole the show. It was cooked to perfection with a beautiful sear on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and juicy. Every slice glided effortlessly through the steak with almost no resistance, and each bite was packed with rich, buttery flavor. It was one of those steaks that reminds you exactly why a well-prepared ribeye is so hard to beat.

The mashed potatoes were wonderfully creamy, smooth, and comforting, while the savory gravy elevated every bite. Together they made the perfect companion to an already exceptional steak, creating the kind of meal that leaves you genuinely content from beginning to end.
