“First time stopping in and immediately noticed how steep the prices were 😳, but I ordered anyway (bc treat yo’self, ya know?). I love fried gizzards and thought I’d try theirs. The gizzards were tender but could have been a bit more seasoned in my opinion. There were also a lot tough pieces which sucks because they’re inedible and included in the weight. I could understand getting 2 or 3 tough pieces in a 1/2lb but there were quite a few. When raw you can usually tell which pieces will be tough by color so I’m not sure why they’re not picked out. I don’t regret stopping by, but will continue to go to CC&F in Lakeland because their gizzards NEVER miss. *chef’s kiss*“

“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.“

Of course they did. I then shared that it was vegan and they literally gasped at me. Turns out the mother has a daughter-in-law who's vegan coming to visit, and she didn't know that Winter Haven had such diversity. Our community is amazing!“

“It is our favorite sushi place in town by far (and we have a lot of sushi places here)! Fish is always fresh, rolls are creative and delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the service is great. Honestly, this restaurant is in my top 5 Lakeland restaurants. I've had foodie friends from NYC visit and thoroughly enjoy their meals here. My 14-year-old daughter has been obsessed with this place since I introduced her to the Out of Control Roll (my go-to). I highly recommend it.“

“Was in town watching dogs for someone, and saw that this place A) exists and B) has cheesesteaks. I will try a cheesesteak anywhere, even if gunfire is happening around me. Thankfully, this restaurant is in a no fire zone. But for this sandwich, it would be worth the risk and the added expense of kevlar. I kid you not, their “Awesome Philly Sub” is that and more. I can’t remember eating a better cheesesteak in 2 decades, and I’ve most certainly tried. Two thumbs up isn’t quite enough… I’ll have to borrow some extra thumbs from my enemies to add to the score. Highly recommended! And I’m a cheesesteak snob… they conquered my appetite and I’ll most definitely be back when I’m out this way again. If you live in Lakeland and love sandwiches and HAVEN’T TRIED THIS PLACE, you are missing out and are making a bald eagle cry. I can’t prove that second one, but it sounds legit.“

Cocktails were exceptionally good, Appetizers were amazing, Main course was Delicious, Steak frites are the best in Lakeland by far, and Jambalaya was the perfect mixture to keep you wanting just one more bite. We shared the Brûlée Key Lime Pie with house made whipped cream and it was better than I’ve had in Key West!! 10 out of 10 on my list, atmosphere is pleasantly decorated for the holiday season, book you family gathering or work gathering in this incredible little spot before everyone knows!!“

“Went for a 6 mile run here and had a great experience. The trail is peaceful well maintained, and perfect for getting some miles in. Plenty of shade, nice scenery by the lake, and not too crowded. Definitely recommend for anyone that is looking to run, walk or just enjoy sometime outdoors“

They offer craft coffee which is not only unique to most breakfast spots, but its also super yummy! My husband got the Country Boy Scramble, I got the Biscuits and Gravy, and we split an order of the French toast sticks. When I tell you we almost fought over the French toast its not an exaggeration! They were absolutely delicious; the custard was made perfectly and they were super crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! My husband said his scramble bowl was good (high praise in his book), and my biscuits and gravy were phenomenal! The biscuit was fluffy and dense, and the gravy had that extra bit of pepper that really set it over the edge. We will 100% be back, and I recommend this place to anyone!“

The gentleman at the offered amazing service, and our order was absolutely delicious. We would HIGHLY recommend the Tiramisu Souffle Pancakes, the Nutella Milk Tea and the Capybara Jiggly Pudding (add the brown sugar Boba topping). We will definitely be returning. Dessert for a family of four, with unique options that appealed to all for a very reasonable price. You should definitely check it out!“
