“The staff here are beyond kind! They really went the extra mile for my birthday, giving us a private decorated room & even a birthday gift! We had chef Bill, who taught us so much about the art of sushi & all of the things that go into the fine dining of it. The food was very fresh & very flavorful. A beautiful, zen atmosphere. “Had my first experience last night for dinner, with my father (89 years young who is now eating with me in many sushi restaurants). Dad thoroughly enjoyed the egg drop soup and chicken teriyaki with vegetable fried rice! I had a fab roll (name: Rene Roll) with tuna tartare! The restaurant is conveniently located at Powerline and Palmetto near LA fitness. Such a beautiful and very clean environment with music and the Manager, Albert, was very welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs. We will definitely be going back, and I am happily sharing this review to encourage others to check it out. (I.e. the Rene Roll 😇). Thank You Albert!!“

“Sushi was super fresh and the portions were good sized. Salmon sashimi bowl, chirashi bowl and all-salmon plate were all excellent. Had a very pleasant conversation with the owner lady after we finished with the dinner. Highly recommend as a no-frills but high quality sushi place.“

“So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place.
