“What can I say about yellowfin, a great time great experience we can bring great friends. Enjoy an amazing atmosphere. The staff is by far wonderful. That’s why we’ve been there for eight months every Thursday. Plan on. Keep doing it every time. Thank you guys so much for indulging us, thank you to the staff for being so gracious, and thank you for the guys who bring out the greatest sushi in the world. Always a pleasure. “Went there to celebrate with family. We all had hibachi, from filet to salmon to chicken. The only thing we didn't have was the lobster.
Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection based on our requests.

“Small little hidden gem restaurant, that was OUT of sight! Our waiter was absolutely amazing, as so was the sushi chef! Who we engaged with both, the entire dinner. Really amazing vibes and felt like I was eating with family, and had never met these people. From the Thai ice tea, to the crab Rangoon… to the sushi, was SPECTACULAR. I cannot wait to return!“

“We had an exceptional dining experience at Shima Japanese Restaurant, featuring the Miyazaki Anraku Wagyu Yakiniku. The chefs and restaurant host, who flew in specially from Japan, took the time to introduce the exquisite cuts of Wagyu, adding a personal and authentic and fun touch. The 16-course set was masterfully paced — every dish arrived in perfect timing, building anticipation and delight with each surprise. The presentation was visually stunning, and the flavors were refined yet comforting. Portions were all size so very bite of the Wagyu was tender, rich, and satisfying yet not too much. The wagyu roll and the sandwich cutlet, were my favourites. Grilling the beef ourselves at the table with friends — a fun and interactive. Even small details, like the beautifully curated tableware and fragrant, freshly steamed rice served in a special pot, reflected attention to detail. Service was warm and attentive throughout. The restaurant maintained excellent ventilation, so we left without any lingering grill aroma, and the complimentary parking was a thoughtful convenience. We left the restaurant with a smiles and a happy tummies. Outstanding meal in both flavour and presentation. Good place to hosts family and friends.“

“I recently moved to Fort Myers from Naples and was looking for a “Hibachi of Japan” place- somewhere that has good food, they cook it up quick in the back, it’s fast and delicious- all for pretty cheap. My steak hibachi entree (rice, protein, veggies, soup/salad) cost like $15. This place exceeded my expectations by far. The food was plentiful, of good quality, and tasted amazing. 11/10, am going to be a regular here now.“

“Was craving fish tacos on our vacation and came upon this place while searching online for seafood. I can’t say enough about how amazing our experience was! The food was PHENOMENAL! The freshness, quantity, presentation, and service was all 11/10! Fun, upbeat Hispanic music playing and a cute little dining area to sit and eat. Will definitely go out of our way to re-visit next time we are in Florida!
Recommend: fried fish tacos, shrimp ceviche, and the mixed fried rice. The pineapple juice was also amazing!“

“We went as a family with a baby. Service was excellent. We ordered sushi rolls and hibachi bowls. Food was great except the miso soup tasted like chicken broth not miso. Fried rice without veggies or egg, kinda bland. We usually get delivery. Every time we eat in the restaurant we are given donuts. We love them. Taste like beignets.“

“This has been my husband and I’s favorite restaurant for 5 years now and we take any chance we can to go here. Their crab Rangoon is the best we have ever had and their sushi is amazing. Our daughter loves their orange chicken and kids meals. They even have great cocktails and are reasonably priced.“
