Notified waiter of dairy allergy but was served green beans cooked in butter. Wow were they delicious. But I got sick. The chef talked to me at 10:30p at night and is committed to doing better in the future. I will eat there again but will be very clear about the allergy. Delicious food and really nice people!

“We always say "We don't feel like we are in Florida , until we go to Micelli's" We went there 4/1/25. An excellent, friendly hostess greeted us. Had a wonderful seat by the water. We loved the breeze, boats going by, superb clam chowder, pizza and music. Great service by our waitress. Glad to be back on Matlache. Parking is tricky. We got there early. We love and recommend it highly. A favorite Florida experience. We will be back.😎😎“

“The only thing that I hate about this is that I waited too long to try this amazing pork. As soon as you pull up to his location you smell a heavenly aroma. I had to stop and take a deep breath. You are greeted with a warm smile! I only live 15 min away but I couldn’t wait until I got home to taste this mouth watering pork! Even my picky eater of a kid asked for fourths! “Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“

“A hidden secret on Pine Island. Great water views, wonderful staff, and neat atmosphere along with great drinks and food. Our server Karley did a fantastic job taking care of us. While the traffic was horrendous getting there because of the bridge construction don’t let that keep you from trying out this spot. We will definitely be returning before we head back to Ohio!!!“
