He immediately contacted the other store, made sure I was reimbursed, and then prepared my pizza fresh and quickly. His customer service was outstanding, and he truly went out of his way to help me. “Was in the area i live in Sarasota but i always went to different cuban pizza places this place happened to be close to me and the reviews were beautiful so i came to El Recreo , i was pleased when I pulled up to be surrounded by beautiful green trees in this concrete jungle. My husband and i ordered, one chorizo pizza, a pepperoni pizza, a spaghetti a mango smoothie. I am always unimpressed by Cuban food in this area but…. Everything was perfect wow I will definitely be back“

The medium pizza is not too big so is easily enough eaten by yourself (Yes, I know that sounds both good and bad) But when you try their pizza you won’t be able to stop.“

Ordered thru Slice app. Our order wasn’t quite ready when we arrived but the restaurant was super clean and comfortable while we waited. Garlic wings were delicious and reminded me of wings from up North (hard to find in Florida). Pizza was great but wasn’t hot (guessing it was timing with cooking the wings. No big deal). Very tasty. “Cali is my favorite place in the area. The food is amazing and is served very fast. It is a restaurant where you never have to worry about the quality being “off”.

The staff is incredible! Jillian is amazing and makes you feel truly cared for. Jose is the man! Everyone is so welcoming and accommodating.
