“Husband and I were visiting Orlando for the first time and came across Maxine's on Shine. It is such an absolutely incredible charming restaurant! The food was outstanding, with generous and delicious portions, great prices, lots of options and vegan options and drinks but above all -- the hospitality was exceptional! From the greeting from the hostess, discussion with the bartender to the server, busser and owners, they all truly made us feel like a local to the city and appreciative of our business. You really can see the passion from Kirt and Maxine (owners) as it really shines through in every detail in their food, decor and ambiance of the restaurant and you can see that same passion in their staff! My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday night and had such a wonderful experience that we simply had to go back on Sunday for the brunch before leaving town. Truly an AMAZING experience and such wonderful people! 100 STARS!!!“

The venue offers something for everyone, regardless of age—our group ranged from 11 to 41 years old, and everyone had a blast. “Went for lunch with the family on a Saturday afternoon. The customer service was excellent! The food was tasty, we had a good time. The veggie burger and onion rings were delicious. The kids meal was properly portioned. If you’re a man that eats a lot my husband recommends 2 burgers. Other than that, great meal and service. Stephany the manager gave us free ice cream to top off our meal. Definitely recommend!

Favorite items are the birria tacos and fajitas. Super tasty and food is always sizzling hot when it arrives. Portion sizes are large! We usually end up taking some food home. “So we are from Maine here in Orlando on vacation. My son found this place on the internet and we were a bit skeptical of it. On our last day in Orlando we decided to give it a try and I am SO GLAD we did. This place was awesome. The ice cream was VERY good. I got a small portion of the Cuban Coffee ice cream with almonds, heath and hot fudge and I regret getting a small. It was so good I ordered another small one. The staff was very friendly Avery and Mia were very helpful and were very knowledgeable when we had questions. They was such a good selection of flavors and toppings which would accommodate any one frok kids to adults. They even had vegan options for those who are into that. Overall great experience 10/10 recommend giving it a try as we do t have anything unique like this in Maine.

We had an amazing experience, the food was deliciosos, the coffee exquisite, I had the Costa Rican pour over, one of the best I have ever had. “The atmosphere and the service were phenomenal! The workers here really know how to be polite, something that isn’t so common anymore. The inside decor is wonderful. While i didn’t necessarily enjoy my general tsos chicken, as it was too spicy for my acid reflux to enjoy, in addition to being extremely chewy, it gave me an excuse to steal all the naan bread from my fiancè while we dined. Let me tell you, that naan bread is out of this world. I’d go back just for that and the mocktails honestly. Not bad!“

“I love to go to Infusion Tea with a friend for the atmosphere, tea, and food. Delicious! But I recently had Infusion Tea cater an event for 100 called High Tea Florida Style. Infusion Tea did itself proud. The delivery was on time and the gentleman that delivered was great. The food was a smash from the scones to the tea sandwiches, to the fruit, and those chocolate chip cookies! The teas were good too. Your team did a fabulous job. We had so much food, we had to take a lot to the homeless, not a bad thing. Women just don’t eat that much, I guess.“

I applaud them on their knowledge of beers, selection, service to customers, and mostly their appreciation of the craft. This is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Orlando and I implore you to make it a regular stop when in the area. The Coin Laundry Lager is by far my favorite but you can find just about any European beer you want here as well as locally crafted European beers. 10 out of 10!“
