“We just moved to Clermont and we gave Design sushi a try. Simply loved! The rolls were delicious and fresh, I tried the hot philadelphia roll and my daughter tried the shrimp tempura .My son only eats hossomakis and even though they didn’t have on the menu, they still prepared a hossomaki for him! Tell me about customer service! I will definitely come back more often. Thank you Design Sushi!“
“Great food and service!!! The staff was attentive. I like all the sushi I have tried. The sashimi was fresh. The eel was perfect. Enough ginger and more upon request. The lunch special is the best deal in town. I like this place!!! Consistently great food. The lunch special is a must!“
“Probably not ordering again. Used to order a couple of years back but it’s overpriced and they shoved three vegetarian rolls in one small plastic box.Salad looks sad, and miso soup is a joke now that you might as well make yourself at home!Miss the old menu, but I know inflation and cost prices are affecting menus everywhere. Good luck to all!“
“We started with the gyoza. Great appetizer. For dinner we had the Volcano roll and the sweet and sour pork. The sushi was very good. The only thing I can say was lacking was the fried rice. It looked browned with soy sauce and very little egg with nothing else to it. Definitley not worth the $3.00 up charge. Service was good. The wait staff shares in helping each others tables. The restaurant was clean. I would eat here again.“
“I eat here with my daughter from time to time. I have never had a bad experience. The only complaint I have is that a few times I have gotten sushi that was somewhat warm. I could be wrong but I believe sushi should be served chilled or at least cooler than room temperature. Other than that I highly recommend this place. The hibachi meals are absolutely fantastic.“
“This is my favorite sushi/hibachi restaurant in the area. The servers are very kind and hardworking. The sushi is always fresh, it's good size sushi with good prices. I highly recommend this place to any local and anybody visiting.Vegetarian options: Sweet potato roll, avocado roll, vegetarian fried rice are all great options“
“You walk in, and are met with a wide open area, kitchen on the right, tables to the left. Hostess showed us our table. We had to combine two lower tables since we had a child with us, which was no problem. Place was very clean. Our waiter was great. I am very bad with names, but she was attentative, and always made sure we were taken care of. Very chill vibes here. We ordered some drinks. They were good. The Tito drink with strawberry and cucumber is refreshing. Now, I would give it a 5, but there's just too much that I wouldn't be able too. They were out of chips, and another item we had requested. The food took exceptionally long. We're talking an hour + for wings (just 6 wings), and fries.Besides the wait, the food was really good. Was surprised by the quality of it. I got the meatball app, and the meatball sliders. My wife got the wings. Others got the burger sliders, Blanca pizza, more wings, and loaded fries. All food was fresh. It was fairly busy, but not as busy as the other restaurants. Maybe staff shortage caused the delay in food? With that being said, I would recommend to give them a try. I will also most likely be back. I want to try some items they didn't have.“
“The best Japanese restaurant in the groveland area! It is a go-to restaurant if you want fresh sushi and AMAZING food from the kitchen. Not only that, the servers and employees were extremely kind and knowledgeable I would definitely come back here again!“
“My first time dining experience at Akina Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional.. The food was exquisite, it's very clean, and the service, particularly from the manager, Doreen, was outstanding. From start to finish, Akina exceeded my expectations and left me eager to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a high quality Sushi and Asian food.“
