“i decided to check this place out on my solo beach day and it was the perfect spot. the staff was very friendly and the overall environment was very laid back and relaxing, which was exactly what i needed. they served my acai bowl in a quick yet presentable manner and it was also delicious, i highly recommend!“
“A great place to eat right off the Minuteman Causeway. It is located on the north side of the Minuteman Causeway west of US1. There are a few parking spaces along the street that offer free 90-minute parking if you get there early. All that to say you may have a challenge to find a space to park during busy times. The restaurant seems to be a blend of about 3 different parts: a shop and bar section, an indoor eating area and an outdoor eating area. My group was celebrating an event so we chose to eat outside along the side and back of the restaurant. It is very quaint and pleasant. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient for out table of about 20. According to their website, “The Tiny Turtle offers a unique Puerto Rican Cuisine with a touch of Caribbean Fusion.” Their menu seems to have a lot of dining choices and, I think, something for every appetite. I ordered a tripletta sandwich. It came out quickly and was delicious. I already am planning to visit this location again to try other items on their menu. The price was reasonable for our current economy but worth it for the taste and atmosphere.“
“Wonderful stop before heading to the beach! Grabbed the fixings (and more!) for a nice picnic style meal. I asked if there was a sink to wash my produce and the nice lady offered to take it to the kitchen and wash it for me. Wonderful, friendly service with all the right offerings!“
“The owners are so gracious and willing to educate you about seafood (albeit with a good side of sarcasm)! The corn fritters live up to being a Floridian tradition. The alligator bites with horseradish marmalade is a must eat! Fried shrimp is divine. Handmade dressings on fresh salads. Haven’t even gotten to the main course…“
“Would give the atmosphere a 5, but the large crowd behind us were drunk, loud, and threw the F bomb a lot, and we had 3 kids with us. No one who worked there, every asked them to watch their language. This was supposed to be a family restaurant.“
“We stopped by for the first time on vacation to celebrate a birthday. We loved our veggie burgers (the best I've ever had and I'm a self-proclaimed vegan burger conesuer)! The chips and salsa are also stellar! The atmosphere was cozy and family friendly. Thank you all for everything!Kid-friendliness: We brought our toddler and everyone was very kind and accommodating. Once he had his chips, he was happy and quiet.“
“The chef took amazing care of us. The fish dip was smokey and perfect, and the chicken salad was super fresh. The tacos were insane! Great ambiance! Mat our server was lovely. The yucca fries and Sriracha mayo to die for. Sour beer on tap. They the BLT it's insane!“
“I am the owner of Grace Giving Goods and we work with the owner, Alex at Bold Cup Coffee. We love their family and coffee shop so much. They treat their customers and employees wonderfully and make some of the best drinks! My personal favorite is the pumpkin chai tea latte and the carrot cake tea. Alex let’s us do pop-up events at his shop and is so kind in supporting others business’. Grab yourself some Bold Cup Coffee!“
“The best cookies I have ever tasted. They are so gooey and thick. You enjoy every bite. And they are big enough to enjoy 2 - 3 servings each to satisfy the sweet cravings. I love the gluten free Chocolate chip one!!! Also, I love the local mini market where I can find unique gifts and decor, gourmet foods and participate in classes. Love, Love, Love it! ❤️“
“As I sat for my meal, this place seemed to be short staffed. This is in no way to be negative. If the owner was not present , those three ladies deserve recognition. To whoever made my cuban sandwich.. thanks for not over killing it with mustard. Good job “
“Cedars Cafe- Lake Washington-5-Stars Quickly becoming a local favorite, this gem of an eatery is beginning to make a huge splash in the local culinary scene. As with most fine dining joints (Cedar's is more casual, but the food is not), Chef Toni changes her menu with the seasonal availability of the freshest ingredients. As we have cruised on past summer and are now in the fall months, I thought it would be a good time to revisit a new favorite and see what Chef Toni did with her traditional, yet eclectically mixed menu. After being seated, I hungrily listened to my server rattle off the seasonal specials and began to drool. This should be extraordinary based on what my ears were telling my palate. After a few moments taking it all in, I asked for an order of Artichoke Shawarma, Fennel Apple salad, White Yam fries, Beat salad with goat cheese, Haloumi cheese, some kafta and an order of chicken thighs in a shiitake mushroom sauce. Relaxing in the pleasant atmosphere it seemed only a moment had passed when my server was soon approaching with my food. Setting it down before me, I drank in the beautiful artistry and scintillating aromas spiraling towards the ceiling as I reached for my tools of gastronomical destruction and got to work. After one bite of the Artichoke Shawarma I knew that once again, Chef Toni has hit a home run. After using the outside of the Artichoke for another dish and wanting to be a zero-waste kitchen, Chef Toni took the artichoke hearts, through some shawarma spice on them, and plopped them on some freshly made hummus. The tastes were extraordinary. The Fennel Apple salad is a misnomer as it should read Fennel and Shaved Apple salad. With thin shavings of apple over fresh greens, fennel, fresh mint and a "secret" ingredient of orange blossom water, this salad was out of this world. Used to cleanse the palate between courses, it more than served its purpose In pursuing the freshest ingredients, Chef Toni often comes upon once in a blue moon opportunities from her local sources. Case in point, white yams. Obtaining just a few of them from a local farmer, Chef Toni worked her magic and turned them into fresh white yam fries served with an herbed, homemade tahini sauce that was a sheer delight on the palate. They were like no fries I have ever tasted before. Moving on to the most pedestrian dish, if one can call a goat cheese feta and fresh beet salad with homemade pomegranate vinaigrette drizzled over it, pedestrian. With farm-fresh beets and real honest to Athens goat cheese feta this was amazing as well. It seems that Chef Toni never misses. She must, she is only human, but I have yet to catch her off her game. After a few bites of the salad, just to make sure I had the taste down, I turned my attention to the grilled Haloumi cheese. While this is a traditional middle eastern dish, Chef Toni took traditional and turned it on its ear. With some almond dukkah seasoning and fresh local honey drizzled over it, this cheese was a far cry from the stuff I grew up on. Talk about scrumptious! While the Houlomi cheese was a far cry from my childhood, Chef Toni's take on kafta brought me right back to it. Grilled in the oven, topped with fresh hummus with tomato and onions and topping a freshly made pita, this went straight to the little boy inside the Big Boy and made him very happy. With a delicate blend of herbs and spices, this dish alone was worth the visit. Sadly, this brings me to the last item up for review, the Chicken thighs in a shiitake mushroom sauce. What can I say about this without sounding like the proverbial broken record? Using locally farmed mushrooms and chicken, this dish taste farm-fresh and danced across my taste buds. The sauce was delicate, subtle and full of flavor while the chicken was tender, juicy and had to have been alive just a few hours earlier, it tasted that fresh. This place is 5 stars all day, every day. The Big Boy says, "Just go already!"“
“This place is my favorite when we visit Florida, I have celiac and I always know I'm safe here, the owner is once of the most easy to talk to down to earth people I have met, his wife makes awesome pastries that are gluten free, go check this place out for sure the coffee is also awesome here, atmosphere is laid back and chill!“
“This is my family's go to dessert shop. The cakes are so moist and the icing is like a not too sweet cream cheese. We had our wedding cake made by them and everyone was asking who we had made it because is was so delicious! (The spiderman cake was a surprise from our party from publix) we paid $350 for 12-9-6 inch cake with delivery and set up. Worth every penny“
“Grace was our server and she was FANTASTIC!!!! My wife and I wanted somewhere private to do our gender reveal and the staff handled the entire night perfectly. Grace was so nice and accommodating she engaged with us and went over and above to make our little private celebration special! Thank you all so much.“
“Chilly Spoons Frozen Yogurt is a delightful treat! The variety of flavors and toppings is impressive, catering to all tastes. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, perfect for a sweet escape. A must-visit for delicious and refreshing frozen “
“Bree was very nice, but We did not receive bread sticks until our main dish arrived. Table service could be improved. Soup and appetizer dishes were not removed from the table until we were halfway finished with our main course. We arrived at 6pm and left at 7:20pm.“
“A friend and I ate there yesterday. The food and service were excellent. Since covid, this Sonnys has been very hit or miss, and because of this, I haven't eaten here quite as often. In the past, you would be standing at the front to be seated, and nobody would acknowledge you standing there. After about 10 minutes I would leave with my group of friends. I heard many other people say the same thing. Also, they don't let you order ahead and eat in their dining room when you get there, you can only order to go and take it with you. That doesn't help when you are on your lunch break and have limited time with your coworkers. After covid, the food took a long time to come out of their kitchen. So, they have lost a lot of business by not being able to seat people and then taking a long time to get their food out for the past few years. I hope the experience I received yesterday is the new norm so I can start going there more often. I love Sonnys food when it is cooked and served correctly. My rating is based on yesterday's experience. I took off a star for my past experience. Had I rated them in the past, it would be a zero star rating if I could.“
“There are few places in town that offer whole fried snapper, crispy Peking duck and Shanghai noodles.Ok, who am I kidding, there is only 1! Red Ginger!Peking Duck is one of my favorite foods EVER! So knowing they carried this got me to stop by REAL FAST! Crispy skin, with juicy brown meaty goodness that melts in your mouth. So many delectable things to choose from on their vast menu… we just couldn’t decide so we just ordered… well, everything we couldn’t choose between. The service was kind, and attentive. They were even able to make some customizations upon request. The atmosphere is inviting and the establishment was very clean.Crispy wontons with sauces were the complimentary appetizer. They might look simple, but the sauces had so much flavor! Loved this little surprise. The wonton soup was truly the best I can recall ever having. The wontons were huge and the broth was like a warm hug.The whole snapper was SO crispy. I could eat that everyday honestly. Super tender white meat (but be careful of the bones if you have never had it! Not a meal to be rushed.)The beef and broccoli was also excellent! And red ginger has been the only place we have found that have crispy Shanghai noodles (my husbands favorite)I truly can’t wait to go back! There were so many other tantalizing offerings on their menu to try!“
“Went there for the first time last week. Order the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl. I was fantastic. Made to order so hot out the kitchen, spicy( but not burning ) and very flavorful and delicious The chicken was juicy and tender and all the vegetables were tender with a little bite to them. I had white rice which was soft and paired well the chicken and vegetables. Definitely my new go to place to eat. I look forward to trying the other menu items and rice options.“
“We’ve been coming here for years and it is one of our favorite local spots! Fantastic food and drinks, and we’ve found some great artwork here as well! Arin is also a fantastic server with great new recommendations! The Parmesan sauce is also incredible and worth getting with the garlic knots or to dip your pizza/calzone in! There are also great gluten free pizza crust options - both the gluten free crust and portobello mushroom base are loved by my gluten free family members!“
“Fantastic spot! The omelette and toast were delicious – perfectly cooked and flavorful. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was excellent, and the prices were fair for the quality of food served. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch. Whether you're craving breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place has you covered with its tasty menu options. Highly recommend stopping by for a satisfying meal! Will definitely be returning!“
