“This place is honestly a hidden gem… I say this because it is in the corner of the Coconut Creek Promenade lodged between two loud bars (They have noise canceling walls and doors). But inside you will find a high-quality Sushi/hibachi Restaurant with very decent prices and great drinks. The service is really good (Unlike the surrounding restaurants… ) and everyone who works there is very friendly. I’m a local to the area and go here very often. And seriously the sushi is so so good. “The moment we walked in we were greeted with the most wonderful greeting by Tan. He was attentive, joyful, welcoming and showed so much excitement for our arrival just as if we were family coming to visit. Our waitress Mimi treated us just the same. Her service made us feel so comfy and welcome and she was also very attentive. When she introduced herself she even asked us for our names. Such a nice personal touch! The sushi rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious and fresh and the drinks were fantastic. The restaurant ambiance was bright, clean and spacious. “Summer Wood Cafe a new place in town we didn’t know existed for the past year. It was clean and welcoming. We ordered Lychee Lemon Tea, Cake Cream bubble tea, and Iced Thai tea and all agreed it was a thumbs up. We also ordered Dumplings as appetizers and later the Double Dragon Tempura Roll, Summer Sky Lobster Roll and Tempura J B Roll, and Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice and all of it was delicious! Not only was the staff super friendly but they even came out with birthday music in English, Cantonese, Spanish and French and even ice cream for our son, without us even asking. What a special treat it was for all of us!“

“If you’re in Pompano Beach and love sushi, you need to try Pompano Sushi.

This may honestly be the best sushi I’ve ever had, or at least the best I’ve had in a very long time. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the flavors were amazing, and the portions were so filling. Every roll we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care.

It’s a small hole-in-the-wall spot, which usually means you’re about to get something really good and this place absolutely proves that. I love finding little restaurants like this when traveling. The smaller places often put so much love and attention into their food and their restaurant, and you can truly taste it here.

We ordered several rolls: Big Boss, Hawaiian, Mango Tango, and Volcano. Honestly, I’m not sure I could pick a favorite because they were all equally delicious. If I had to choose, I’d probably say the Volcano roll, but every single one was excellent.

I would come back to Pompano Beach just to eat this sushi again. Highly recommend if you’re anywhere nearby.“

“My girl and I had an incredible experience at the Boca location. I like how all the patrons sit at the counter together, it adds a sense of intimacy akin to sitting at a sushi counter in Japan. You quickly begin to mingle with the other guests and even make friends along the way. A member of our party had a birthday and we all sang happy birthday to them and did a Sake toast. This was the best way to celebrate an early Valentine's Day dinner and we are definitely coming back. After this Omakase experience all other miami sushi spots will never taste the same again.“

The restaurant is conveniently located at Powerline and Palmetto near LA fitness. Such a beautiful and very clean environment with music and the Manager, Albert, was very welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs.
