“Summer Wood Cafe a new place in town we didn’t know existed for the past year. It was clean and welcoming. We ordered Lychee Lemon Tea, Cake Cream bubble tea, and Iced Thai tea and all agreed it was a thumbs up. We also ordered Dumplings as appetizers and later the Double Dragon Tempura Roll, Summer Sky Lobster Roll and Tempura J B Roll, and Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice and all of it was delicious! Not only was the staff super friendly but they even came out with birthday music in English, Cantonese, Spanish and French and even ice cream for our son, without us even asking. “Found this restaurant while I was trying to find a restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was not a disappointment. The staff, the service, the food and drinks, everything simply amazing.

We had a group of 12 and we had Dorian as our server who was very attentive and patient with us all. The other staff who kept coming in to clear our table was also making and pleasant! Wish I could’ve given her a big hug.

Everyone was pleased with their meals, drinks and service and it was the talk of the night.

“So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place. Shout out the server Hector, chef Javier and GM Ouray.“

“The was a wonderful experience for lunch. I wanted to take my daughter for this amazing experience but not do a full dinner portion. There was A LOT of food and we were stuffed by the time we left. It was all very fresh and delicious. We tried new nigiri that were amazing. We were delighted to have the opportunity to taste these new flavors with beautiful craftsmanship and freshness. Probably the only things I could see to improve was that we were put in the corner even though there was only one other couple there. Thus, my view was behind the bar and not that "pretty". It was clean, but I would prefer to be seated at the regular bar area to have a nice experience looking at the chef prepare and not "behind the scenes". Also, the corner was right next to the water feature, and I could hardly hear the chef explain anything. That took away from the overall. The last thing was the artistry of the food. Maybe it was because we went for lunch? But other Omakase experiences, the chef turned the sushi into art with various toppings and other ways to excite the eyes as well as the palette. Here at Taki, the sushi was done perfectly, but it was just the rice, fish and sauce, not much else. However, one could say that there is nothing else needed with a delicious piece of nigiri... I'm only comparing it to another Omakase that I personally preferred. Overall, it was a perfect lunch place for this type of experience.“

We were the only ones here but we did see several people walk in and get takeout to go. Prices were decent for the area. I ordered the vegetable soup, and it was one of the best vegetable soup I had ever had quite condensed with tofu and the vegetables. I also ordered the spicy tuna sushi rolls excellent.
