“Based on all of the extremely positive reviews I saw, I thought this place was going to be overhyped, but it was not! We had a incredible meal. We got 4 à la carte plates (crudo, waygu bao, wontons, rice) between 2 people, plus the Hong Kong French toast for dessert. Everything was incredible. Great suggestions from our waiter, but I’m sure we couldn’t have gone wrong with anything on the menu. The wine list was small, but clearly well curated!

“Dumplings Mi Amor is an absolute gem. We ordered the ramen and the beef dumplings with mushroom, and everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious. You can really feel the care and experience behind the food, especially knowing the owner, Ryan, trained as a chef in Japan. He was so kind and genuinely cool, which made the whole experience even better.

“I always get the same dish, the Mama Pork Fried Rice, because it is comforting & delish. The only complaint is that the last 2 times the restaurant has been out of the coconut milk I love so much. Api has been our server several times & she is a delight. Tonight Karla was her helper & both treated our table very well. This time around, I tried the pork Japanese curry and the chicken katsu. The curry was a solid 4/5, good, but nothing particularly memorable. Personally, I would have liked a bit more spice, but that comes down to preference. What stood out more to me was the portion size. It leaned on the small-to-medium side, and at $23, it felt a bit overpriced for what you get.

The chicken katsu was more reasonably priced, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. The sandwich was dripping oil, which took away from the overall experience and made it feel heavier than it should be.

All in all, Sando Miami is a decent option, but with a few adjustments, especially on portion value and execution, it could be much better.“

“This little spot has a vibrant atmosphere. The cashier was polite and friendly. She made a good recommendation after just a few minutes of going over the menu and our preferences. Pork belly ramen. The broth was full of flavor and just the right amount of spice. The pan fried pork bao was also good. The meat had a good almost sweet smokey flavor but was not overly tender. The tempest roll was excellent. It consisted of a good portion of salmon. The dirty milk tea was surprisingly nice. Not too sweet and lots of boba. The coffee smoothie was a sweet touch for the end if the meal. The menu is a bit pricy so this will be a place I can visit only once in a while. 2 months later..... chose to dine in. Ordered different ramens. They were generous portions! The service by Julian was excellent. JULIAN immediately attended us at the door, helpful with the menu, and got the food out quickly. I'd go back and ask for him if i were you. 😉“

The food is so good. Their zombie roll and cracker tuna are delicious. Have not been let down by an item. Great place for celebrating.

Wednesday nights have become our favorite tradition thanks to Gail! She’s like a mother bird, making sure everyone is fed, happy, and taken care of. She’s also spicy like wasabi, a little saucy, and always brings so much energy and personality to the experience. We genuinely look forward to seeing her every Wednesday.

The food is consistently delicious and fresh. The cracker tuna is absolutely outstanding and a must-order. The sushi is great quality, beautifully prepared, and always tastes fresh.
