It's a good restaurant at a semi-fair cost.The food was good with a few exceptions.Portions were very good.The waitress was attentive.Clean establishment including restroom.Mash Potatoes were FAKE, which is strange considering the lime beans seemed to be well prepared and generously seasoned with bacon and probably fresh or frozen.Fred Green Tomatoes on the other hand were not very good, probably pre-made frozen. We found this restaurant the first day we moved to the area. It is a wonderful restaurant if you like southern home style food. The portions are very large. My husband often has the catfish, and I have had the porkchops, and we both have had different things. Everything has been really good. The prices are $$ but no higher than any other sit-down restaurant. I highly recommend the Hud.

This was my first time going to the hub. JAMISON seated me was wonderful and smiling. She took my order steak tips and gravy and salad bar. She made sure my glass was always full. My dinner was wonderful steak tips cooked to order and salad bar was loaded with items and very clean. They added new item on specials pot pies, I ordered one to go for dinner the following night.
