Ricky's Tacos is a quaint little hole in the wall restaurant with friendly service and a nice atmosphere with indoor/outdoor seating. It is a family-owned spot serving authentic Mexican food. The dining room has only 4 inside tables but there is plenty more outdoor seating on the patio. The carnitas were incredibly moist, tender, and delicious, and the al pastor had amazing flavor. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor. The al pastor tacos were amazing, though the chips/salsa were a little disappointing. The chorizo burrito supreme was huge and ready in 15 minutes. The Taco Tuesday deal is very good: two tacos, rice, beans and a can of soda. The tacos al pastor were very good and the chicken was liked the best, while the asada and beef tongue were also good. The prices are reasonable, the service is fast and friendly, and they don't skimp on the meat in the tacos. Legit real street tacos, best in the county. Churro cheesecake was brought out on the house for a birthday. It is walking distance to all of Crystal River, FL waterfront and parks and sightseeing.
