“We came to the restaurant for a birthday celebration and we had a good time. One thing I have to say the smell what meets you once you walk in is a turn off. This should be corrected and taken care off. We almost changed our mind and left to go somewhere else. Please management take cate off that. Must be the carpet.“

“This is such a delightful place. The food is superb. For starters we have carpacho arugula salad, stuffed braised beef mushroom, pear raviolis, (because we needed to try as much as we could) lol. The service resembled a white glove affair. The salmon was smothered in a dark sugar sauce. The sangria was sooooo refreshing. Our waiter Gussepi was so eager to please that how can we not write a review, and order almost everything from the specials for this night, (because it just sounded so delicious). I recommend this place with closed eyes. Your experience will be a memorable one, and your pallet will be filled with delightful taste resembling a food Ecstasy. The crowd was a reasonably middle to upper class crowd. They open at 6pm for dinner on weekdays and a reservation is advised, but they do not look as if they turn anyone away. The entire staff is so happy and pleasant as well as equally eager to please. Enrique is so attentive to details. The entire staff serves everyone. You are not isolated to one server, they all pitch in to make the customers experience a uniquely enjoyable one. The restrooms are immaculate. I also noticed the LACK of mold, mildew, and cobwebs in the dining area. This restaurant is as clean and neat as the food is superb. Hats off to you all. We appreciate you.“

“Came here with the entire family to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday and as always Rubino’s didn’t disappoint! This place has one of the best pizza’s in town! Their appetizers are amazing, if you haven’t had their whipped ricotta you are missing out! Great atmosphere, great food!“

“So we ended up at Café Portofino in Miami tonight and man… this place surprised us in the best way possible.

We started off with a smooth Malbec while my daughter had a small chicken Caesar salad. We also ordered the homemade burrata and the beef carpaccio to start, and both were legit. Fresh, flavorful, no pretending to be fancy just for the sake of it.

My wife ordered the Pasta Nona with chicken, mushrooms, and truffle oil, and I’m telling you right now, that dish was ridiculous. Probably the best thing on the table. The truffle was balanced perfectly and the whole thing just worked.

I had the braised ravioli and threw on some red pepper flakes because… Miami. Needed a little attitude. Absolutely killer dish.

Then came dessert. Chocolate lava cake and tiramisu with Heath bar on top. Yeah, you read that right. Totally over the top in the best possible way. Finished the night with a giant double espresso because at that point why not?

And big respect to Justin, who took care of us the entire night. Super attentive, cool without being fake, knew the menu cold, and paced everything perfectly.

Dinner for the three of us with wine, dessert, and espresso came out to around 200 bucks and honestly? Worth every penny. We’ll definitely be back.“

“This is without a doubt the best lomo saltado in Miami and the smoked salmon, cream cheese and avocado lumpia from another planet. They have different sauces, some better than others. My husband brought it home and I was eager to try more of his creations. Super recommended, the food is excellent, the portions large, the quality of the ingredients A+. “We had a wonderful experience. After reading some other reviews we realized it might be hit or miss. It was a hit. We were welcomed by Michelle, choosing inside or outside seating. Even though it was Saturday September 2nd, we opted for outside. With a fan we never even broke a sweat, the weather was perfect at 6PM. The views of the water are breathtaking. David, our server, started is off with a martini and a water melon based drink. The bar tender matched the perfect flavors. As summer gave us the option for Miami Spice we started with the tuna ceviche. Absolutely delicious, melt in your mouth. Since we do not eat meat, the Branzino was out go to. Perfect presentation cooked over a saffron risotto. Delicious. I also had the Noma salad, with baby green, all crisp freshy cut veggies was the perfect healthy addition. The views: perfect, the service: perfect, the food: perfect. All we wondered is why we were even able to get a table. All around experience was great and we will definitely be back to sample other items on the menu.“
