“The people who run this are amongst some of the kindest restaurant owners I’ve met in Daytona. Finding genuinely delicious and well-priced food at restaurants is growing harder and harder and this is a restaurant that never does anything BUT exceed my expectations. The prices are super good given the huge portions I’ve received. I don’t typically care for Chinese food but Chen You does it differently in the best way possible. It’s to the point that they seem to have my voice recognized because of the amount of times I’ve come here. I’ve never liked chicken fried rice and the chicken fried rice here is not only tolerable but delicious. The establishment is always very clean compared to others as well. I tried the sweet and sour chicken last week and that was amazingly tasty and also had a large portion relative to the price. Yesterday I tried the beef lo mein and I’m back again today to get a second helping plus some other food for my friends.

Again: great value, great food, great people. These are the kind of mom and pop shops/restaurants I want to support and will continue to support in the future.“

You can tell that everything here is freshly made in store! Not just by the appearance, but by the flavor as well. Just look at the pictures of my meal for proof!

Let’s start with the dumplings. Dumplings are supposed to have a thick dough layer around a solid meat filling. That’s exactly what this is! Every other place I’ve tried from New York all the way down to Miami and everywhere in between uses potstickers, which are purchased, frozen and have a very thin pie shell. This store makes their own and it shows.

Let’s go to the beef and mixed vegetable. Most of the time when I order this dish, the beef is somewhat tough and the vegetables are just as tough. But here at this China, one, the beef tasted as though it was tenderize and marinated! It like fell apart in my mouth along with the vegetables. Absolutely perfectly done.
It came with fried rice that was very good and it also came with an egg roll. That was probably the best eggroll I’ve ever had. When I spoke to the owner she said she makes her own eggrolls, and I have no reason to doubt it!

Lastly, but certainly not least the vegetable lo mein was amazing! Actual chunks loaded with vegetables! Again a perfectly done dish

I have found the best Chinese takeout restaurant on the East Coast of the United States! I can’t recommend them enough! I will be eating more Chinese food from now on“

“This place was great! I ordered take-out and the staff were extremely friendly (the kids were even helping out). Everything was super fresh. It was the best wonton soup I’ve ever had in an all honesty… even the little baggie of crispy noodles that come with it I could tell were homemade and fresh. I will definitely be ordering from them again.“
