“The food and service are not an issue both are outstanding. This is a theme restaurant a theme I like I am old South? nostalgia means a lot to me I am certainly willing to pay anyone who can take me back to my childhood this place does just that. I have gotten to old to deal with crowds we go places like this in the off season. I would receive a bit of modernization reservations required and observed. The 18 percent gratuity has not been an issue because we have not had a bad experience if there is a manager on site to speak with should there be a problem there behavior would decide if we returned. Been going for year's I do believe the new management is a vast improvement.“

“First time visiting tonight and they did not disappoint! The food was amazing! We had pork belly tacos (my favorite) and steak tacos plus the steak and portobello noodles. Outstanding. The restaurant was clean as a whistle and Alissa was the absolute best! The food came out fairly quick and was hot and yummy! This is one of the best finds in DeLand! Tucked away on Howry! We will be back soon and often!“

“I had the pleasure of stopping in to this adorable bakery today. I enjoyed a delicious coffee and oatmeal cookie while enjoying the view of the pond and ducklings. I will be back. The staff were very helpful and sweet just like the sweets they had on display!“

“We were there yesterday. We wanted to take home in a growler some black IPA that was on tap. To our surprise. we could not do it since they would not allow that specific beer for takeout. Disappointing!“

“I would just like to comment though on recent pizza I ordered. I hadn’t had in years Tom’s combo Less cheese for one on top. Something changed. Different taste Although good not the best anymore. Still recommend but not for me.“

“This has become one of our new favorite spots! The food is so creative and you can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The portions for the money are extremely large. The service each time we visited was top notch. Attentive but not pushy at all. Highly recommend.“

“Met some family here for Sunday lunch and had a great experience. Food recommendations were great, weather was beautiful for eating outside and flying. Lots of planes and skydivers made for a perfect time. Will be back.
P.S. the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, recommended by the waitress, was the best I’ve ever had.“
