“The square Grandma's Pizza is delicious. They deliver nearby and also work with Delivery Dudes and maybe others. Price is a little high but the pizza quality is very consistent. We enjoy Umbertos since the year we moved here (2008) The owner seems a little grumpy at times, but I suspect he is busy. Sometmes they have coupons in ValPak or maybe online, but mostly you are paying full price. It's the best pizza on Deerfield Beach and they stay open late for a slice. They have been closed for much of the Covid. We saw they were open on Friday, but today (Sunday) no luck for us.“

I witnessed a family who decided to potty train their 2-3 year old child on the patio. Not a big fan of watching a child go to the bathroom whilst sitting between tables. The parents were lucky to have patient and kind management and servers as I complained about what I witnessed. JB’s definitely had a more family friendly approach than I would.“

“This place is still there and the prices are still very reasonable. It looks like they've only gone up 50 cents since the last pictures. My Cobb salad was $9.25. It is fresh food prepared carefully. We're lucky to have such a place.“

“A must for us whenever we are in town. Comfort food as it’s best. It reminds me of my grandmother’s kitchen. Over the years, we’ve tried many different meals and they never disapointed us. Portions are generous and food is fresh. Staff is super friendly too. Here’s a picture of the soup (you have to try it, it is always DELICIOUS, we got 2 bowls to go) and the burger (I forgot to take a picture before taking my first bite, oops). My mom got a burger too and we shared her french fries (portions are very generous).“

“We have been coming to Deerfield Beach several times over the last year or so to attend to family business. Not an easy or pleasant visit. However, I want to (again) comment on the waiter at The Spotted Stag restaurant in the Doubletree Hotel . Surprisingly, the food there is quite good but even more worth mentioning is the young waiter at the restaurant. He is a young man of 20 and his name is Duy. He is bright and efficient. More than that though, he is friendly, accommodating and anxious to please. If you are ever in that area and need a place to stay ( or eat) I highly recommend The Spotted Stag and their amazing young waiter named Duy.“
