The man, not SURE owner or mgr HE went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND. I had ordered small appetizers was planning pick up on way home. However, I got stuck on side exit ramp getting off I-95. the lady mgr called HUNG UP ON ME.!!! after . next few minutes later the man called and was trying figure where I was. He wanted to come deliver my food to me. he said "I AM VERY SURE YOU'RE HUNGRY" (I WAS) ps instead come all way 95 asked him drop my house. HE DID to pix and gave to roommate (thought was asleep) he didn't care about the tip.. just wanted make sure I had something to eat. knowing I was writing since 7 am and was almost 11 pm. “Sumo opened in Boca Raton, FL during Covid in 2019. The letters on the strip mall in Mission Bay read 'Sumo Sushi'. Not being a fan of sushi, I avoided going in...until today, when I was looking for an alternative to my usual hangouts. Erica greeted us at the door and welcomed us in. I ordered the Temura Chicken and Vegetables and my friend ordered the Teriyaki Cicken. The salad that we selected as our starter was fresh, crisp, and flavorful with a sweet ginger dressing, and our meals were perfect. Erica was personable, attentive, and witty, providing exceptional service. The dining room was clean and so was the sushi bar and the restroom. There are only 7 tables in this establishment and the sushi bar has seating. If you haven't noticed this place because it's set back in a corner of the mall, and you like quality Japanese food, you should give them a try. I'm happy I did and I can assure you that we will be returning. The tempura was some of the best I'd ever tasted. It's my new favorite dish!“

Professional cuisine with a stunning view of Boca Lake. Our server Shim (Jeff) was exceptional — incredibly polite, well-educated, and attentive, delivering true Japanese-style hospitality.

The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The otoro tuna and caviar sashimi and nigiri were the best I’ve ever had. The crudos — hamachi and omachi — were fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. The espresso martini (with a funny, unforgettable name!) was perfectly balanced. And the chocolate mousse dessert — simply sensational.

“Outstanding omakase experience! We live in Palm Beach Gardens and the best we have by us is Sushi by Bou - which is great, and “scratches the itch” - but Taki Omakase is on another level. The variety, authenticity, quality & creativity of the dishes were the best I've had in south Florida. And we also did not feel rushed. Anthony was so fun to watch and chat with, and the vibe of the restaurant was perfect. I hope they expand to our neck of the woods because they will be on our regular rotation.“

“Found this hidden gem. Strictly does take out. They have one of the best roll combo deals around six rolls for $43 or 10 rolls for 69. Portions are very large food is very good have not had a bad order yet. Allow about 30 minutes for your order to be made fresh.“

“This was my second visit to this place. I enjoy the taste of the rolls and edamame. However, the calamari was rubbery this time, and they brought the wrong rolls instead of the ones I ordered. I’m not lowering the rating because the bartender/waiter offered to fix the order, but I declined since there were only 15 minutes left before closing. I understand the staff might have been tired. I also received a complimentary beer, which was a nice gesture — the customer service is good.

As for the atmosphere, I give it two stars. I understand it’s meant to be an authentic spot and it looks great in photos, but in person it feels quite cluttered. The posters are faded and could use an update, and the place would benefit from being a bit cleaner.“

2) Chicken Teriyaki w/ fried rice
3) Crab Rangoon

Their chicken and shrimp are NEVER EVER dry; the teriyaki sauce is sweet and savory; they use GOOD jasmine rice that heats up well the next day for leftovers (not cheap hard rice);
And their crab rangoons are LOADED with cream cheese (they don’t skimp out on filling); they give you a CONTAINER of yummy duck sauce with it; with extra packets in the side.

They also give you a PUNCH CARD, so after 6 orders, you get one full sized chicken teriyaki with vegetables and rice for FREE.

I love their consistency with their food quality. It’s what makes me drive out of the way to get their food.

Dad thoroughly enjoyed the egg drop soup and chicken teriyaki with vegetable fried rice! I had a fab roll (name: Rene Roll) with tuna tartare! The restaurant is conveniently located at Powerline and Palmetto near LA fitness. Such a beautiful and very clean environment with music and the Manager, Albert, was very welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs. “So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place. “Delicious sushi restaurant! We started off with the fried gyoza appetizer and the salmon nigiri. There is an up charge of $6 if you decide to get all 12 salmon. For the entree I had the Chinese lo mein with shrimp and it was served fresh and hot. The food here is super filling! This is a fast food place so not many dine in. We were the only ones here but we did see several people walk in and get takeout to go. Prices were decent for the area. “The best Thai not just in town but as good as you'd find in large metro area. We got takeout and I can tell you, that everything from soup to salad, sushi and main courses were outstanding! It's unfortunate that we discovered it so late and it puts Moon Thai to shame.
