When you are there its like being back at studio 54 or even being back at 2001 Odyssey were the original idea of the lighted dance floor came from. John Boys has a vibrant atmosphere like no other club in Delray has. If you have not been here yet then you are missing out on one of the best experience of your life.“

“Always a relaxing time at Riptides!!! The kavatenders are attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is so calming, and the patrons are great company. If you're looking for a place to chill and just be alone, or a place for socializing Riptides has it all!!! Riptides is my place to go after work to unwind and just chill. The teas and kava are always amazing. The selection of finger foods and snacks are a great addition.“

“This place is proof that even on a bougie address like Atlantic Ave in Delray can support a dive bar. The atmosphere is dressed down, as are the staff. The food is pub fare, but elevated with touches like pickled red onions and grill toasted buns. The value is amazing, and the portions are respectable. I normally avoid the Ave due to traffic and cost, but Johnnie brings me back time and again.

“We dined here on Tuesday night. The French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had. The seafood crepes were also delicious. My hubby had the escargot and the duck which he also enjoyed. The bread pudding was a very nice ending to our meal. This was our 3rd time here and we will be back!“

From my very first visit, Ricardo and Christian made me feel like a regular. They’re kind, energetic, genuinely welcoming, and clearly love what they do. Christian, in particular, is nothing short of a cocktail scientist — crafting some of the most creative and delicious drinks I’ve ever had. Every pour, shake, and garnish feels intentional, and it’s clear you’re in the hands of people who truly care about the guest experience.

The food is amazing too — we couldn’t get enough of the margarita flatbread. SO GOOD.

There’s never a dull moment at the Venetian. I’d honestly travel back for a long weekend just to experience the atmosphere here again. That kind of hospitality is rare — and unforgettable.

“My Mom lives in Delray and we brought her here for drinks before her birthday on a Friday evening in February. It was awesome. Amazing views, cool rooftop bar area, great live yacht rock singer (Jamie!) taking requests. Bethany, the manager made sure that my Mom was celebrated - and we were only there for about an hour and half. I hesitate to share this review because I fear it will become too popular, but for the time being it is a hidden gem near the beach!“
