About Chez Henry's

Based on reviews, Chez Henry’s is a restaurant where the food selection is marvelous, the tastes are fabulous, and portions are large. The service is perfect, and the atmosphere can be calm and classy with a lounge vibe by the bar. Some guests enjoyed sitting outside, though the inside can be loud and noisy. Specific meals mentioned include the HENRY'S COBB, Chicken Pot Pie (which had lots of chicken but a slightly doughy crust), Mussels, Buratta and Tomato Salad, Duck Confit, Pistachio Crusted Branzino, and Coq au Vin. Desserts like Profiteroles and a Coffee Ice Cream/Brownie/Whipped Cream extravaganza were awesome. A Thursday special of turkey dinner was hearty and plentiful. However, a St. Patrick’s Day special of corn, beef and cabbage was bland, with the corned beef not cooked enough and the cabbage tasteless. The restaurant is family run, and every detail is attended to. Prices are reasonable, and the noise level is good when not crowded.

Clean, airy, bright spot for French-American fare. Waitress was 6/5 - attentive, lovely, knowledgeable. Dinner was hit or miss. Crusted salmon was good, but my buttery crusted scallops were wet more than buttery, dry on top, and missing the caramelized sear that makes a scallop flavorful and succulent. Sides (spinach Maria and mashed potatoes) were pretty good. Potatoes were a bit dry. Desserts were 5/5 and my cappuccino was great! My cocktail (St Tropez) was 5/5. The Paloma could...read full review
What a wonderful surprise! It was a last minute decision to have dinner here. It was a stormy evening so we were able to just walk in and get a table.
The atmosphere was nice and clean. The martinis were perfect.
The food was excellent and plentiful. The hamburger tasted as if it were just taken off the grill, (we arrived too late for the veal), and the Mediterranean salad with fried eggplant and grilled salmon was amazing.
The whole experience was further enhanced by...read full review
As always, it was a pleasure dining there. The server was supper, especially attending to what was needed. She would be even more exceptional if she lowered her voice when talking to patrons.
