“I visited Hawkers for the 2nd time 2 weeks ago. I brought another group of friends there to celebrate one of our girlfriend's birthdays. Once again it was a great experience. Chef Reggie remembered me from my last visit. Manager Tom welcomed me back. Chef Benjamin came out to meet my friends and I. He wished the birthday girl happy birthday. Our waitress Dakota was very friendly and attentive. The staff made us feel special, and thanked me for coming back again and introducing my friends to the restaurant. We enjoyed the food, our drinks and the vibe of the place. A+ for customer service, hospitality and food. I will definitely come back again. I may even bring a new set of friends with me next time around.“

“We go weekly to Burt & Max, we always ask for Joe, he gives us 10 star service, always with a super great attitute. The food is excellent, I recommend the steak quesadillas, the Hamburger, and the trout when it's available, among others. The armosphere at the bar seems very nice.“

Meatloaf is special and unlike others you have had before. Braised short ribs were super flavorful and tender.
Special menu for $45.00 including appetizer, entree and dessert -- delicious food choices and great value.

“My friend and I had the ramen, gyoza, and karaage chicken. I forgot to take a photo of the gyoza, so I’m sorry about that. Anyways the service overall was really good. Our server was attentive and very kind. The atmosphere was nice as well. It was calm since we came a little bit after the restaurant opened. The ramen was honestly delicious in my opinion. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the other toppings were delicious as well. The karaage chicken was crispy and had a nice flavor. The pork gyoza was flavorful as well. The fruit tea was really refreshing and I appreciate them making it less sweet for me as well. My only complaint would be the temperature of the food when it was brought out. I feel as if any food brought to the table should be hot. The ramen and appetizers came to us a little warm, which caused the food to get cold faster. The food was good enough to eat still thankfully. I’d definitely come back here again. I just hope the food will be hotter.“

“We had the pleasure of dining last night at Amar Mediterranean Bistro, and incredible would be an understatement. From the the initial warm greeting we received from the hostess, to the top shelf waitress (Sara) who was not only friendly but extremely knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. The menu is incredible and I would be hard pressed to believe that anything plated would be less then perfection. My only warning is you better go with an empty stomach because your first bite will definitely draw you in!“

“we had the rack of ribs and they were great. we are BBQ aficionados and this place was definitely worth the trip. Staff was very polite and service was great. They also had great salads and sandwiches. Nice place to visit. Lots of TV's as well to watch.“

“Nice restaurant on the intracoastal. Lots of choices for dinner and drinks. I had the maple mustard salmon dish. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My husband had a Caesar Salad with blackened shrimp. The salad was huge, the lettuce was crisp and fresh and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Our server, Jensen, was sweet and took good care of us.“

“The place was empty when I visited after 12 noon. There was a young lady behind the counter with a welcoming smile. I ordered an espresso, which she made & it was very good. The chairs inside are unusual & rather uncomfortable. I sat just long enough to consume my coffee. There was outside seating featuring metal tables and chairs, not very appealing. Obviously, they need to invest in better furniture. One last note, the car parking was ample & easily accessible. When the weather allows I will be back and try the outdoor seating.“

“We LOVE this place! It is by far the best Indian food around, and offers service with a smile! We have been guests of Victor for over 5 years now, first at Saffron & Curry, and now at Victor’s Indian Palace, and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and made perfectly to meet your tastes and preferred spice level. Our family favorites are the Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo, Sizzling Lamb Chops and the hot, fresh naan bread and aloo paratha. It is consistent and delicious. I had the fish tacos and they were some of the best I’ve ever had (Florida always has the best, most fresh fish you could ever find). The musicians performing the night I attended were playing a lot of old school music, which I am a huge fan of! The atmosphere was to die for; everyone was up dancing and having a great time! I had a few non-alcoholic beers and they were reasonably priced! My waiter Kyle was fantastic! The food came out fast, the music was great, and the service was excellent! “I don’t usually eat pancakes but since they were highly recommended I decided to try them. Man, they truly are the best pancakes! Not thick, light, and airy. What a delight! The service was the quickest service I’ve ever received. Everyone in the small sit-down restaurant got quick service. I was just passing through but this will be my space to visit when I’m in the area. Our two breakfasts were less than $25. I would have spent more at DD or Starbies.“

“Great wings! Delicious Mahi Mahi! And some really tasty and fresh options. The French fries are some of the best I’ve had - crispy and flavorful, but soft on the inside.

As a side note, the owner is a Maryland native and as a fellow Marylander, I respect the use of Old Bay and the ode to our nation’s capital.

“We had the best meal tonight with our family at Longhorns. We’ve dined in all the best steakhouses in New York City and we had our doubts coming here, but my dad insisted because he loves this place and always eats here whenever he’s in Florida so we went along to indulge him. Boy were we happily surprised. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The portions were generous. The pores were generous as well, and our Scooter was so attentive and accommodating. I cannot have gluten and he was able to suggest the shrinpnappetizer grilled instead of breaded which was delicious! We really couldn’t ask for more and we will definitely be making this a regular spot on the few times a year that we’re here.“

“This was my second visit to this place. I enjoy the taste of the rolls and edamame. However, the calamari was rubbery this time, and they brought the wrong rolls instead of the ones I ordered. I’m not lowering the rating because the bartender/waiter offered to fix the order, but I declined since there were only 15 minutes left before closing. I understand the staff might have been tired. I also received a complimentary beer, which was a nice gesture — the customer service is good.

As for the atmosphere, I give it two stars. I understand it’s meant to be an authentic spot and it looks great in photos, but in person it feels quite cluttered. The posters are faded and could use an update, and the place would benefit from being a bit cleaner.“
