“Vegan or not, their food was amazing. Great location for people watching from the sidewalk section, the interior is cosy and there's a cute courtyard out the back that would be ideal with a group. A simple wine list, but great healthy salads, proteins and awesome comfort food. The service was also delightful. Can't wait to get back there.“

“Delicious meal from start to finish. The brussel sprout appetizer was phenomenal. My main dish was the chicken pot pie.....so perfect I ate the whole thing. My roommate had the bacon wrapped meatloaf which I've had before and it's out of this world. We finished it off with an Apple Praline dessert which was tasty and not too sweet. If you haven't been here yet, you must give it a try.“

“I visited Hawkers for the 2nd time 2 weeks ago. I brought another group of friends there to celebrate one of our girlfriend's birthdays. Once again it was a great experience. Chef Reggie remembered me from my last visit. Manager Tom welcomed me back. Chef Benjamin came out to meet my friends and I. He wished the birthday girl happy birthday. Our waitress Dakota was very friendly and attentive. The staff made us feel special, and thanked me for coming back again and introducing my friends to the restaurant. We enjoyed the food, our drinks and the vibe of the place. A+ for customer service, hospitality and food. I will definitely come back again. I may even bring a new set of friends with me next time around.“

“This place is proof that even on a bougie address like Atlantic Ave in Delray can support a dive bar. The atmosphere is dressed down, as are the staff. The food is pub fare, but elevated with touches like pickled red onions and grill toasted buns. The value is amazing, and the portions are respectable. I normally avoid the Ave due to traffic and cost, but Johnnie brings me back time and again.

Oh, and live music is a big draw.“

Truly everything was superb from the cocktails, to the saki to the dessert. We will definitely be back! Note that it is a very cheery atmosphere so it can be loud. “Nice restaurant on the intracoastal. Lots of choices for dinner and drinks. I had the maple mustard salmon dish. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My husband had a Caesar Salad with blackened shrimp. The salad was huge, the lettuce was crisp and fresh and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Our server, Jensen, was sweet and took good care of us.“

“Great food for people with celiac/lymphatic drainage/autoimmune issues. Very knowledge & friendly staff on which products are best for certain food allergies although almost all I can handle especially the pastries which is really hard to find so I’m glad this place keeps everything celiac-friendly by using the right organic sweeteners! I can literally emotionally eat 3 chocolate chip cookies and a scone without feeling sick & sometimes that’s all a girl needs on her worst days! Also their soups, salads & smoothies are so delicious!“

Not to mention the prices. Soo affordable and don’t forget to bring your cash because it’s cash only. FYI, if you’re expecting a boujee place with endless mimosas for brunch, go to city oyster down the street - not green owl. Owl is a chill, cozy atmosphere that you’ll love. Long live green owl!“

“First time, and maybe influenced adversely by our 6pm dinner reservation being on Valentine's Day. The waitress didn't acknowledge us when we arrived, so we took an empty table. Shortly after she dropped off 2 menus. Then she flew out of the restaurant at 6pm like she was late for something. After a long wait to order and then be served, we were rewarded with a most delicious borscht (beet soup) and classic pirogi with onions. We also enjoyed a cheburek filled with beef. The potato pancake with mushrooms was soggy on the inside, not firm like a latke. Paying was disappointing as the cashier canceled my access to claim a $4.10 award on the stripe machine in her rush to charge the next group of patrons. We look forward to returning, but will go earlier next time and hope for better service.“

What truly made the experience unforgettable was our server Anyis. They were attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. They made sure we were comfortable, checked on us at the perfect times, and gave excellent recommendations. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in their work.

“Been here many years and never ate there thought it was just a senior place,with cranky adults,even though i am a senior i usually don't go to that type of restaurant,,last week we ordered for delivery at avellinos,the food was great i enjoyed it,eggplant Parmigiano, and my husband had chicken marsala,and they offer your choice of side dishes,they were also very good,the delivery was asap aka delivery dudes,was prompt abd food was very hot,so all in all had a very good experience on all levels“
