“This has become my favorite place to come on a Saturday morning and enjoy a great breakfast. Not only their breakfasts are amazing, but the pastries are out of this world. The service always, always, is the best. Doesnt matter how many changes (not too many) we ask, they always try to accommodate it to the best of their capabilities. Jackie today went above and beyond, and helped any customization I requested with a big smile on her face. Places like this make it worth visiting each time.“

“The restaurant was in a nice area in Hialeah gardens or unincorporated Hialeah, not sure what this area qualifies as. Anyway, it was nice. We were immediately greeted by the hostess. She was kind and asked where we preferred to be seated because we had a stroller. The table we had ready for us (we got in line online) didn't work because of the stroller. So she quickly helped us get one that worked for us. We chose to be seated outside. Nice outside area that isn't in direct sun light. The table we were initially sat at was so wobbly that I don't see how anyone could eat there. We had to move to a different one. However, the three outside tables in the size we needed were full of dirty plates. We had to ask the server to please clear a table so we could switch. She called over the busser and he cleared the plates on the one table we were moving to and then they left all the other tables around us dirty. A dirty napkin was even left on top of the sugar and I had to move it to another table. Gross...

Another party came to eat outside and they too had to switch tables. They had to sit at one of the tables with dirty plates. The servers just moved the plates to the side to accommodate them. The dirty plates remained the entire hour that we were there dining. I'm not sure why no one cleared them. It wouldn't have been much more effortful to take it in and clear the table. In other restaurants all employees do this, not just the busser.

The food was good, but honestly people don't want to eat surrounded by tables with a bunch of dirty plates.“

“Man, what a find! I was driving around after a brutal early morning of Amazon deliveries (you know how it is!), and I was seriously craving some good grits. I actually Googled "grits near me," which is how I stumbled upon this place. I'd seen a review that mentioned "classic diner vibes," and that totally sold me. Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it's a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of "good mornings" from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere. My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It's awesome when servers are that considerate. The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, "Now that's how you do it – the classic Southern way!" That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip. Seriously, the whole experience was just what I needed – good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. It just felt… good. I did notice the prices were a little higher than what I saw in some older menu pics online, but honestly, with everything going on these days, it's not surprising. Even with the slightly higher prices, I absolutely loved this place. I'm definitely going back soon. It's the perfect spot for a comforting, classic breakfast that just hits the spot.“

I definitely recommend coming here, although the parking is a little tricky since the restaurant is located inside of the garage. But it is accessible for walk ins if you park directly across the street.“

“After reading previous reviews on The Hilton blue lagoon Miami we decided to try this as an alternative to eating breakfast in the hotel This is situated in the corporate building “ carecloud” next to the hotel which houses various businesses and obviously mainly caters for the people that work there You enter the building and it’s on the ground floor to the right Lovely breakfast of fresh fruit , eggs and ham , bacon and coffee and only $13 so amazing value Definitely worth a try“

“While traveling and using public transportation, the city bus dropped us off down the road from Candy's Place and the connecting bus was running late. We walked down the street and discovered Candy's Place purely by accident. We originally went inside to have one beer and walk back to the bus stop. Waited at the bus stop again but decided to skip the bus and go back to Candy's Place because it had such a positive impact on us and we didn't want to leave. Candy's Place is so nice and welcoming inside and as soon as we met the owner and customers we knew right away this place is very special. We spent the rest of the day and evening there, met new friends and everybody made us feel so welcome and at home. Maribel, the owner, is an amazing and beautiful soul...she made us feel so welcome and her Platano Fritos are amazing and her Cuban coffee is absolutely the BEST coffee I have ever had. To Maribel and your local customers...thank you for inviting us in as part of your neighborhood family, we will never forget your kindness and generosity. Our experience was so memorable, we are definitely coming back to see you. If we were local, we'd be there every day.
Candy's Place is clean and neat with a warm ambiance. There is karaoke on the weekends, pool table, juke box, breakfast and lunch is served right there from the kitchen...there's no need to go anywhere else, it's home away from home.“

“No A/C, but plenty of flies. Country gravy, SOUR, didn't eat it. Asked server if I could have a biscuit instead of toast, she said yes, did not mention it was $3.29, and to add insult to injury, IT WAS NOT WORTH EATING. Left it, a good server would have asked if there was something wrong. As she could clearly see, I did not touch gravy or eat biscuit. Live and learn.“
