Only thing I didn’t like was the smoke, I’m a smoker but when I’m eating I don’t like to be breathing others smoke while eating it’s not appetizing.“

But all the components fit well and were tasty compliments to the meats. I truly enjoyed the sauces on the meats just enough spice, tang and heat on it all cooked to perfection. Best BBQ I've had since moving to Florida 20 yrs ago. Will surely come back again when in the Miami area. Worth every dollar for sure.“

“Nice sports bar & billiards room. This is a nice place I feel because most people are regulars and respect one another..! The food is always fresh. I have tried steak sandwiche, chicken wings and shimp and tostones! Very tasty and made pretty quick. What I like mostly about this place is it's combination for bar,/ dance floor/ pool table setup with many TVs for sports. Music is upon request. Mostly Latin music but I have seen then cater to every demographic according to request by customers. They are open till 5am sat and Sunday and continue to serve beers ect to its customers up until closing. Each individual coming into the Place is checked for weapons . Patrons are carded if individuals look underage or in question. I recall this place definitely if you enjoy playing pool and watching sports.“

“I have visited this place on Taco Tuesdays and Wings Wednesday and even though I like the tacos and wings, the hot dogs are by far my favorite. The beef sausage is delicious and the topping options make it a great combination. Brisket tacos are not included in the Taco Tuesday deal, however I also recommend you tried them. Yesterday was my fourth visit and I am looking forward to many more.“

“Driving from Miami airport to Punta Gorda, Florida, I was craving Cuban food, but the traffic in Miami proper was horrible, so I Googled and came up with 'Sabor de Cuba' in Hialeah, Florida.
It did not look like much from the outside, but when I went in, I immediately noticed how sparkling clean the place was.
I was greeted by a lovely girl named Lily,
who only spoke Spanish.
I speak a little Spanish myself and was able to order exactly what I wanted. Macitas de puerco, Frijoles, Yuca, and sweet plantains.
The chef brought the food out to me herself and made sure I had everything I wanted along with the coldest beer I've ever had! I must say I am a connoisseur of Cuban Cuisine, and this was probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The staff was super sweet and attentive and went out of their way to make sure I had a good experience, despite the language barrier. In the end, the chef brought me a taste of their arroz con leche, which was amazing. I was sent on my way with a to go cup of the best Cafe Cubano I've had in a long time. I will absolutely drive 20 minutes out of my way the next time I go to Miami Airport to visit this place again.“

When asked to pick a restaurant these past few months, I choose Sunset Tavern, because the food is delicious, the vibe is fabulous, and mostly, because I want to taste the new sublime latte of the week ( they have had French Toast, Cinnamon Bun, Chocolate Cherry, Lucky Charms, etc.). I have shared my experience with everyone I know, and will rally a large group on St. Patrick’s Day. We went last month, when a marvelous band called Chum was playing, and had another stellar experience. This is the gem of Miami, with creative people like Amy, elevating the experience for all.“
