“I've been eating at Jerry's smokehouse for many years he's been a friend and very good dude and makes the greatest barbecue sandwiches that melt in your. Also has a garden that sells flowers and yard bushes and trees get good deals.
Parking: Actually it's got a roundabout where you can drive in get out walk up and get your dinner or go inside and there's a couple picnic tables and stuff you can eat at and or you can get your food and go and circle right I out.
Kid-friendliness: Just real friendly people will do anything for you. Just ask and I'm sure you will be happy.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah is wheelchair accessible that might be a little bumpy because there's a lot of you know rocks and stuff that go up to the to the BBQ smokehouse“

“First Class all the way! Had them cater our event for over 250 people, the ‘Topping Off’ party for the new hospital being built in Riverview on 301. From Set -up, the servers and take down- 1st class!!! The food was wonderful!!! Highly recommend.“

“We planned on visiting Johnson's BBQ at least 2 years ago however our first time was yesterday and it was truly fantastic. As soon as you arrive at the door there is someone there to greet you immediately and also seat you comfortably 😉, there is the unique air of southern hospitality and also kindness from the servers and waitstaff! The atmosphere is rustic and original that way you know your in line for some great BBQ the way it was meant to be, slow smoked and falling off the bone tender. The side dishes were also great, the have collard greens, green beans, sweet potatoes soufflé and potato salad to name just a few along with desserts. The main entrées are of the slow smoked ribs and chicken, to include beef brisket and pork butter. My favorite were the nachos 😋 which are an appetizer but easily could've been a meal as they were covered in melted cheese and layered with chunks of beef brisket! Also the Southern fried chicken was slow smoked, fried and then drizzled with honey, OMG!! The taste was Phenomenal!! My wife had the BBQ Chicken wings and they were succulent and juicy, the sauces weren't overpowering and were sweet and smokey 😋!! I would definitely recommend Johnson's BBQ to anyone traveling or living around the Plant City, FL area it's worth a trip as I'll be going back ASAP! Great 👍 job Johnson's keep up the great service, hospitality and food!!“

“My last visit to Tampa was a home run with my brothers in the chap world. Simms killed it with the smoked mullet and turkey rice. The owners are great people and the food is off the chain. Thanks so much for doing food so right!“

“Best bbq I ever tasted! Brisket, Gator bites, Chicken wings, Ribs all cooked to perfection. I even stopped by for breafast the next morning and had my 1st better than hardees biscuits and gravy along with, "What!" smoked corned beef with poatatoes. It made our day! I heard about this place up north and can say if anyone is remotely in the Tampa area.....They should stop by!!! Thank You Jimmy Jo's!!“

“Staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I want to apologize for my family's behavior for causing a fuss over some sweat tea. You guys were awesome!!! Everyone of you worked well together to achieve something I haven't seen from a BBQ place in a while. Food was absolutely to die for, all the sauces were flavorful and unique and the meat was so good you didn't need to drown out the flavor with condiments. For those of you looking for a great place to get some southern BBQ this place is it.“

“Let's talk about the brisket taco. It doesn't matter if you order it as an appetizer, a meal, or to go.. just don't skip it! Side baked beans will make u question why u never knew about this restaurant! Don't be like me, just order 2 brisket tacos instead of trying to mix match like I did! Ask Sweet MEAGAN, the bartender, to hook u up a refreshing Brick's TEXAN Paloma cocktail (super balance and not too sweet)..oh yeah the meatloaf sliders is also a must!“

“Hit this place again today, been here several times. Always very friendly, helpful service. (I'm handicap so he's helped me to the car with the soups several times.) Just finished a few months of cancer treatments, so what better way to rebuilt your health than fresh homemade chicken soup and a matzoh ball! Such great comfort food too! Today I had a potato knish with spicy mustard! Sooo good! This place is currently a brick and mortar, but will soon be going to the Florida cottage type place. ❤️“

“just got home from having a wonderful meal at roadhouse. the meal was fantastic at an incredible price. the place was so busy. sunday at 5.30. but the service was exceptional. the server treated us like we were the only table there. there were 6 of us. we all took food home. we can not say enough about our positive experience. will def be back.👍“

“You walk in an immediately smell the amazing smoked meats! That smell makes you hungry!!! This was our 1st time, and decided to try the 4 meat platter with 2 sides. The brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and sausage. My favorite was the brisket, chicken and pulled pork. The French fries and fried okra were the perfect crispy. Coming from Midwest (KS) we have struggled to find a BBQ that was true to the Midwest. We have found it!!! Heath was an owner an came out and asked his customers how it was during a quick break. There was always a lot of to-go orders, and another of people in the restaurant. But the atmosphere was what you would find in an authentic BBQ in Midwest!!! LOVE IT!!! WE WILL BACK!!!!!“
