“I love this family owned BBQ business! The food is delicious and very affordable. They offer many food items and give you more than enough food. I usually eat some for lunch then later again for dinner. The owners are very nice and welcoming. They sell food every other Saturday, but make sure to call or check the website before going to see if they are selling. They sell at food competitions, events and the usually on the side of Rockhill road. Just park in the grass, get out and order the food. It's usually ready in less than 5 mins!“
“We were really pleased with our dinner outing to Ybor Grill in Ruskin, We had 5 people and everyone was pleased with their dinners. The highlight is all the food tastes like it came from a home kitchen...like it was made personally for us. I really like the meatloaf, others liked the shrimp dish and the chicken dishes, the side dishes of plantain, yuca, chefs special were all exceptional. Service was as good as can be by Alicie R who was friendly and efficient, explained everything and added a lot of enjoyment to the whole experience. We can't wait to go back.“

“Good food, reasonably priced. They don't have a huge printed menu like other large chain BBQ places. Just look over the cashier for what you want. I recommend the black plate special. I've never had a smoked steak before, and you literally cut it with a disposable knife. It's my go-to, but they tend to sell out quickly at lunchtime.“

“Texas Roadhouse is our go to for relaxed dining with great steaks. Our server, Amelia, was great. My husband insists Texas Roadhouse makes the absolute best prime rib. Of course, the freshly made rolls and cinnamon butter are always amazing. Our rolls were brought to the table right out of the oven. Their large portions leave us little room for dessert - - maybe next time.“

Everyone was very friendly and the menu items have cute names, like Aunt Soandsos potato salad, or Uncle Somebody's slap yourself cornbreadmuffin. I had the pulled pork dinner w/potato salad and baked beans. The pork was a heaping pile and the bbq sauce was amazing. Hubby had the rib dinner w/collards and potato salad and a corn bread muffin. His ribs were delicious and the sauce complimented the flavor nicely. However, with the exception of the collards, the sides were just ok. The cornbread muffin was dry and crumbled, potato salad was very eggs and the potatoes were a bit undercooked, and the baked beans had none of that amazing bbq taste, just warm beans. But, who goes for the sides!?! We did have to pay for parking across the street, but it is Ybor. All in all it was definitely a delight and we will be back.“

The owner probably name Ice Cream. But the name is attractive. This is a meat ice cream. The turkey leg is smoke to perfect and fall off the bone. Definitely a good thing to have. The food truck only open Thursday to Saturday. Start at noon till the food last. We got the BBQ rib sandwich with 4 bones. It is delicious. The meat have good marinated spice. The BBQ sauce is homemade with good tangy sweet. Finally I have clear my 10 years bookmark and paid them a visit.“

“Wow, I just had the best experience, ever, at the Brisket Shoppe. This was my second time in, my first time was also a great experience, they asked me if I had been in before and when I said no proceeded to take me on a tour of the place! This time I came in and they just made me feel like family. “The Brisket Boys” as I like to refer to them in my head, were all so kind and inviting, felt like I’d known them all my life. The food: well this is the only place in Tampa that is frying in pure beef tallow. Every other place that boasts “tallow fries” actually cuts the tallow with some kind of seed oil. I avoid seed oils like the plague, so this means a lot to me! Even the gravy I dipped my fries into didn’t have any sketchy ingredients. The brisket was melt in your mouth and I loved the seasoning. I highly recommend The Brisket Shoppe!“
“I called my order in and the order taken was very polite, patient, and knowledgeable! I usually have problems with my steak temperature at different restaurants BUT THE CHEF HAD MY MEDIUM WELL STEAK SPOT ON ?. IT WAS JUICY, SUCCULENT, WARM WITH A LIL PINK IN THE MIDDLE!!! “OK to start off I grew up on a pig farm ... grew up with 2 of the best bbq spots in the US.... this surpassed every expectation I had ... the pork is cooked to perfection .... moist with a perfect crust .... the collards where knocked out of the park ... I spent 20 bucks with dinner drink and tip .... I will be making this my regular bbq spot ... and for those saying the prices are too high need to learn that good isn't cheap and cheap isn't good and this is exceptional bbq .... originally stopped to give it a shot just from seeing the old growth oak laying on the side .... but the flavor the textures all around atmosphere and aroma got me to give it a shot.. Several other great items on the menu too. They do not serve fried food like some barbecue joints it's real barbecue potato salads, garlic butter parsley red potatoes, cole slaw and lots more. “I’ve been going to Perry’s since I was a little girl. On weekends with my family, we used to stop by here together, after perusing through the mall, and would have a nice meal together. The employees were always so friendly and kind each and every time. The quality is always amazing, the portion sizes are huge and generous, and the food is always fresh. I have never been disappointed coming here and despite there being newer locations, this one still has my heart after all this time. Over the past twenty years, the mall has changed a lot and has gone quite downhill. And yet, Perry’s is still the same. I came back here today after not visiting for almost 6 years. As expected, the food was exactly how I remembered. This is such a good spot for Chinese takeout and you really get your bang for your buck (a basic combo is somehow only $10 even in this economy)!
