“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.“

“Here on Sunday after church. Great food and the staff is really friendly. Very short staffed (isn’t everyone!??♀️). One server for the entire diner, so our wait time was pretty excessive. She was doing a great job keeping up as fast as she could.“

“Went through drive thru and I have to say the line was rather long but moving smoothly. I got a steak burger and OMG this is not your typical fast food! This burger had flavor that is hard to find even at a sit down restaurant!! I was very pleasantly surprised! This is our new go to!!!“

“This Burger King goes above and beyond, this is the only one I have gone to since moving to Lake Wales and I went through the drive through one day, ordered my food, got home and it was all wrong, first time time this has happened, I called and talked with a man called Nick and he apologized and told me next time I'm in to mention that I talked with him, well I went back and received my new meal and everything was perfect. Thanks Burger King“

“Went through the drive thru to pick up some burgers and a soda... The line was sorry and moved quickly... The young lady was patient as we figured out what we wanted... Our food came out in no time! As expected from Culver's, or food was fresh and tasty! Thank y'all!

“First time here. It was cheeseburger day and Five Guys was offering half off a cheeseburger through mobile/online order, so I figured, why not? Ordered an hour ahead for delayed pickup. Went to get grocery and was 15 minutes later for pickup. It's nicely lit up inside. I had 4 orders, all the burgers were already in their bags. The girl at pickup section started frying my fries and make my milkshake after I confirmed my orders. All the buns were soggy by the time I got home, which was expected. I totally didn't remember their regular burger comes with two patties. The patties were very juicy. I can only assume the veggies were fresh because they were all soggy and cooked by the time I opened the tin foils. The regular fries were kind of too salty for me. The Cajun fries were very spicy and not too salty so I like that. Got a Reese's milkshake, it's not very sweet so it's nice but didn't really have a strong peanut or chocolate taste to it either. The root beer from the fountain machine were not flat and taste like how root beer should taste so that's very nice.“

“Our family was at the Lake Wales IHOP on 8/6 and I have to say our server Brianna was fantastic even in the midst of a severely unfortunate staffing situation. There were about 25 people dining in as well as several to go orders meanwhile Brianna was hosting, serving, bussing, and handling “to go” by herself with 1 cook. I felt bad for the situation she had been put in due to scheduling/staffing as she could not possibly do EVERYTHING herself. Through it all Brianna was attentive, kind, accurate, and I could clearly tell that she had a system down pat. Great job to her!“

“I lived in Lake Wales for over twenty years and I love Al’s Place the friendliest bar in town, remind me of the old tv show “Cheers “ when everyone knows your name. The beer is cold, the food delicious and they give you plenty. On your first trip there you will get initiated with the yardstick and become a member of the family group. My son and daughter got me back in Pennsylvania as I age to see that I have proper care, but promise me every so often the would bring me back to Lake Wales to visit all my old friend. Looking forward to February at when they celebrate the the holiday Mardi Gras and have a great time with all my old friends…..It’s a pleasure…Thank You.“

“San Diego’s was absolutely amazing! The service was excellent. The guacamole was so fresh and chunky! The Asada tacos were stuffed to overflowing. The gigantic burrito was full of chicken and flavorful. The salsa and fresh chips are on point! To top it off, the prices were extremely reasonable! I will be a repeat customer for life.“

“Delicious food and I was amazed by the amazing customer service! They are super friendly and helpful. The manager offered us free peanuts from the boxes in the dining area while we waited for our food . Our food was ready when we went inside to pick it up. All in all, great service, food and atmosphere. 10/10 🩷“

“Tried the meal deal. Got my usual double cheeseburger along with the new spicy chicken, fries and a drink all for one low price. I have to give the spicy chicken 2 thumbs up. Size, juicy and flavored just right. Medium spicy which I found refreshing in the world of fast food hot chicken sandwiches.“
