Burger Restaurants near Dundee

“This is the worst Hardee’s I have ever been to. Took me 25 minutes to get my food and there were only 3 other people in place. The mgr was yelling at employees reminding them to do their jobs and No one was paying any attention. Employees yelling at other employees. No food dropped 5 minute wait in chicken. 5 minute wait on pies. Fries were cold and burger was on top of lettuce tomato and onion instead of made like a proper burger. Who ever in charge needs to start over with this staff there were not friendly and could care less if they had customers in place or not.“

“Don't really come to this location often as I have one alot closer to my house. But we went here as it's right across the street from my girlfriends work. Food was brought to our table within a reasonable amount of time considering it was lunch rush.“

“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.“

The entire restaurant, bathrooms, dining tables, beverage station and floors we super clean. Now this place definitely sets the standard. Great Job... shout out to Richard and Mike for superior and effortless Customer Service.“

“Here on Sunday after church. Great food and the staff is really friendly. Very short staffed (isn’t everyone!??‍♀️). One server for the entire diner, so our wait time was pretty excessive. She was doing a great job keeping up as fast as she could.“

“I like iHop, but I may end up going there less now that I realize drinks cost 4.59, and they don't offer refills for free. I dont remember that ever being the case, but maybe I'm wrong. Either case, I've been here long enough now that there's other restaurants in the area where I can get cheaper food without paying for refills. Other than this, the service is a bit slow. I wanted a bit, not too long, but it wasn't that busy, and I had to wait. The black lady who is a waitress there is fantastic. I dont know too many others, but I've never had an issue. It's just the wait time. That's an issue. Parking outside is a nightmare, and the restaurant is around a curve, so it's not in the most noticeable or convenient area. They'd do better if they moved to the Walmart Plaza with all those now empty businesses, but I guess they're still here to be next to the hotel. I have no issues with the food. It's excellent, but to me, breakfast is mostly breakfast, and there are cheaper options without being charged for refills. I will still come here once in a while but am a bit unsatisfied with the pricing and parking. If there's no spots in the parking lot, I leave.

EDIT: I visited yesterday, and a waitress informed me that certain beverage options aren't refillable, but she told me that I should have been told this up front. She was nice and gave me a discount. I went there for dinner and as always, the food is good. I ended up giving them an additional star because the service was better. I still think they need more parking or should move elsewhere in an easier to find place.

Parking: There's few spaces and it's shared with a hotel. They spacing isn't large and you can't really park elsewhere and walk based on its location around the curve.“

“I lived in Lake Wales for over twenty years and I love Al’s Place the friendliest bar in town, remind me of the old tv show “Cheers “ when everyone knows your name. The beer is cold, the food delicious and they give you plenty. On your first trip there you will get initiated with the yardstick and become a member of the family group. My son and daughter got me back in Pennsylvania as I age to see that I have proper care, but promise me every so often the would bring me back to Lake Wales to visit all my old friend. Looking forward to February at when they celebrate the the holiday Mardi Gras and have a great time with all my old friends…..It’s a pleasure…Thank You.“

“We ate here for the 1st time today. I ordered 2 orders of Chicken Avo, 1 Beef Avo and 1 Barria Taco platters with sides of rice and beans. It came complete with topping of onions, cilantro, sauce and lime! The sauce had the right amount of heat, plenty of meat on each taco. The order was completed and brought to our car in a timely fashion. Service with a smile. I will definitely be coming back. Keep up the AMAZING work!“

“If your looking for cheap burgers then this place is definitely NOT for you as a meal for 2 is gonna be over $30.00. That said if your looking for the absolute "best" burger, a clean establishment and friendly workers then you came to the right place! I will ish the prices hadnt went up but it's still worth every penny if you ask me.“
