“My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..“

“I have to say I was disappointed that a couple of my favorite things were gone from the menu except I was amazed and delighted by some of the new items that I got to try. In the pictures you'll see I had the smoked corned beef sandwich called the Montreal and it had their famous Granny Smith apple coleslaw on it (also pictured in the small side dish) and I got waffle sweet potato fries as my side dish. I couldn't have had a better corned beef experience. And my friend had the combo platter that you also see in the picture and I must mention that all of the meats that he had the sausage the corned beef brisket and the ribs were all excellent he couldn't believe how good it was and how much food he got . We both had a hard time finishing really. If you look in the distance on the left you'll see a little crock of their wonderful gouda smoked macaroni and cheese with corn salsa on top. This is one of the best sides you can ever have with a meal. We had a wonderful server and it was just a really good experience at the end of a very hard day both of us working to get his restaurant up and running again after the two hurricanes pretty much destroyed half of his restaurants.“

“The managers both Carlie and Justin were both very accommodating when I called to make a reservation for 20 to celebrate a birthday at the restaurant. Our server Devon did an outstanding job and was absolutely fine regarding our request for multiple checks. The food was simply delicious and the prices were reasonable. They allowed me to bring in a birthday cake and they served it for no extra charge. We were all extremely happy with the service provided and will definitely return!!“

“During the shutdown I decided to go around and find the best BBQ in the area. BBQ Queen takes the pulled pork sandwich award for a few reasons. One, Phyllis, the owner, cook, pit mistress, is wonderful to talk to, two, one sandwich is enough for two people. She even gives two buns. The third is that I do not like vinegar based BBQ sauce, but her hot sauce is the exception, and to say it is hot would be an understatement. Well worth the trip.“

“This Longhorn is amazing! It is the best steakhouse in Pinellas County. Tammy H. of Store 5212 is friendly, polite, fast, and very knowledgeable of the items on the menu. “I visited this restaurant on 3/09/2024 to have dinner with my family. The service was terrible! the server was asked 4 times to bring water and lemon to the table, the server failed to check up on us after serving our food, and towards the end, my brother asked to bring out another order of tacos and the server persuaded him to not order more because they were to busy. due to the poor service provided by the server, we all the decided not to tip. After verifying my credit card account, to my surprise, an adittional 10 dollars were added to my bill. I thought it could be an honest mistake; however, after speaking to my sister, she informed me that 10 dollars were also added to her card. FOOD NO SO GREAT, BAD SERVICE, AND STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS.“

“My husband and I were recently in the area to help family with cleanup after Helene. We decided to check out Smokey Bones as it was not too far from our hotel. We went along with family and overall we were very happy with the place. We liked the food but I thought the chili was on the sweet side...which I personally don't like. The best part about our meal was our server Brittany. We went back a second time and we were lucky to have Brittany as our server again. She was very friendly and entertaining. If we ever go back to Fl, we will definitely stop by.“
