Based on the reviews, The West End Market is a great gem in Dunedin with a fantastic atmosphere. It features a variety of food choices, from salad bowls to tacos to sweets, and has a bar. The location is great for watching sports on TV, with an outdoor vibe. An authentic German restaurant was recently added, serving the real deal for a sausage like an authentic bratwurst with tons of flavor. The cheesesteaks, both chicken and Philly, are the best in the area. The service is outstanding and very accommodating. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the owner is an absolute amazing owner. The private room is perfect for events like an engagement party, and it is a great place to hang out, watch sports, or hear live music. An incredible band called "Magic" and magicians perform there. It is a nice hangout spot for casual or dressy clothing, with plenty of tables and chairs, almost like a mini armature works.
