These guys just added an authentic German restaurant. When I saw it was Jerome and his family, I gave myself a cheat meal on my diet for their soft opening.
Got an authentic bratwurst. Came garnished with ketchup and onions, on a real bread bun.
It’s the real deal for a sausage. Tons of flavor, one got me pretty full, and likely pairs great with a beer.

We had an engagement party for 70 people in the private room at the market. Shawn and his staff were outstanding and very accommodating. The food was amazing the service impeccable. All of our guests were so impressed and loved the atmosphere. If you have an event coming up, do yourself a favor and book it here! It’s also a great place just to hang out and watch sports or hear live music.

Based on the reviews, The West End Market is a great gem in Dunedin with a fantastic atmosphere. It features a variety of food choices, from salad bowls to tacos to sweets, and has a bar. The location is great for watching sports on TV, with an outdoor vibe. An authentic German restaurant was recently added, serving the real deal for a sausage like an authentic bratwurst with tons of flavor. The cheesesteaks, both chicken and Philly, are the best in the area. The service is outstanding and very accommodating. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the owner is an absolute amazing owner. The private room is perfect for events like an engagement party, and it is a great place to hang out, watch sports, or hear live music. An incredible band called "Magic" and magicians perform there. It is a nice hangout spot for casual or dressy clothing, with plenty of tables and chairs, almost like a mini armature works.
