“Love the staff and food. Tried the restaurant after the renovation and the new items added to the menu are awesome. Everything is hot and fresh. Home made pickles are a tasty garnish. The French fries are lightly seasoned and thick crinkle cut. Golden texture is great and you don’t even need ketchup. The pulled bbq is our fav along with the Mac n cheese. Best out there. The owner comes around to Check on the tables and the staff are so friendly, you feel like part of the family. Can’t wait to go back. Breanna was our server tonight and she is sweet as the bbq sauce and took great care of us, great service.“

“I made reservations for my family since it suggested it on their website. My husband ,3 sons and I arrived and the hostess brought us to a table that was waiting for us! That was a pleasant and appreciated surprise to not have to wait. Our server,Jordyn was attentive and friendly she had perfect timing with drinks appetizers , main courses and desserts. We ordered 3 appetizers for the table and 5 different meals as well as two desserts for us each to have a sample of. Everything was not only full of flavor and perfectly prepared but also absolutely beautifully plated. We had a pleasant conversation with the owner ,Cindy, and she answered our questions about some of the flavors that we couldn’t quite place. We also discussed the history of the restaurant. It’s nice to see owners/managers in the dining area. We will come again soon and recommend this establishment to our friends and family. Thank You all“

“The food was only second to the service! I had the biscuits and gravy while my wife and friend both had the eggs Benedict. Both meals were amazing! We also had the onion rings for an appetizer and they were delicious. The service was absolutely phenomenal! Sophia took great care of us with kindness, positivity, and knowledge. “We were promptly seated and graciously allowed to enter a cozy circular booth with our server Izzy pulling the table out, so we didn't have to scoot into the booth. How thoughtful!!!! It was Prime Rib night at Ovation, and we both ordered medium rare. with loaded baked potatoes. Our prime ribs were absolutely delicious and the most scrumptious medium rare that one could ask for. “We had breakfast this morning for Veterans Day. Of course they were slammed. Outstanding staff from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out. We had to wait for our food but while we waiting we noticed how well the staff worked together. The wait staff was complimenting the kitchen and wait staff helped one another. “I've been driving by this place on Hwy 27 for years, and it seemed to always be busy, no matter the time or day. Impressive for an Italian restaurant.

Finally stopped for a meal and was not disappointed. The back side of the place faces the lake and provides lovely views. I understand their back porch is often open for additional seating. And despite the openness of their seating, sounds were contained, and it didn't seem overly loud.

Menu was vast, offering salads, calzones, pizza, pasta dishes, sandwiches, and more. Each sounded delicious 😋 The server was friendly and helpful.

Hubby and I split a black & blue chicken calzone and a small antipasto salad. I had a beer and he got a sweet tea. All was as yummy as expected, and tummies were filled as their portions were large.

The total bill was around $30. What a deal for delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. Hope to go again soon since there's so much more from the place I want to try.

“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.“

“I recently attended a private catered event at Flightline Cafe . We had a delicious buffet meal Salmon , Parmesan Chicken Breast , Sweet Baby Carrots. Garlic Mashed potatoes and tasty Broccoli and cheeses . Started the buffet with a delicious tossed salad with all the fixing . Washed it down with sweet tea and lemonade. The bar has top shelf drinks that keep you going back for more . Service was impeccable. If you ever need a place to have a function Flightline Cafe should be one of your top choices as kudos to the owners“

Once, I saw a customer complain about their food, but management still demanded full payment. I saw Meagan quietly pay their bill while apologizing for the food. The customer never knew she bought their meal!

Of course the food is excellent - great breakfast and the best hamburgers in town! Prices are reasonable.
