“We went through the drive-thru and the gentleman that helped me, was so kind. He was so friendly, and making sure he got my order correct. I enjoyed the customer service he put out there. He is friendly, nice, and very thorough.Although, my burger was wrong at least my kids food were right. LOL !“
“This restaurant is inside the Food Court at the Exchange on Eglin AFB. This location consistently delivers quality food. There is plenty of seating in the food court; I've never seen it without at least one or two spots available, even on heavy shopping weekends. The drawback of this location is that they are regularly unable to fill large orders immediately. The last time I ordered a 16 pc family meal, we had to substitute a thigh for a breast and they had to drop the onion rings fresh, and it still took about 10 minutes to deliver the food. However, if you have the time, the food is always great and the service is kind. Don't forget to use your Exchange card for 10% off.“
“This place is good, good portions, and for the sheer amount of orders they handle, very efficient.I don’t know what people expect when they leave such poor reviews. As one of the only lunch spots on this side of base it gets super busy, so yes, the wait is long, but for the amount of orders they’re taking it’s reasonable. The food is good. They only have one oven, so you can expect things to take a while when everybody gets their sandwich toasted. Especially when one person starts ordering for a whole office. As for the comments about rudeness, I haven’t experienced that at all. They don’t have time for chitchat, so they tend to be straight to the point. If you don’t know what you want before ordering, that’s on you.Yes, you’ll wait, but that’s not their fault. Build in extra time and there’s no problems here.“
“Get your glow sticks, mullet wigs, and skimpy rompers on! This place is down right buck wild! A hoedown so fun you’ll never remember what happened. I woke up the next morning in a pig pen with a new tramp stamp and a chocolate footlong in my mouth“
“My kid loves Burger King and we had such a bad experience at the Hurlburt Field Burger King and the one on Mary Esther. Decided to give the Eglin one a try. I had my expectations low but was surprised how friendly the workers were. The workers were genuinely nice and seemed happy. The food was fresh and well made. My burger didn't look like someone punched it at the end like other places. ALSO, it was clean inside!!!! I didn't go into the bathroom, but the tables and floors were clean. The straws, condiments, napkins etc were also well stocked. Finally, they had the AC on! I wasn't sweating inside. The Hurlburt Burger King is a dang sauna. I had to eat in my car. My son's face was pink and he had sweaty hair at the Hurlburt one. Overall my new go to Burger King even though it's a longer drive to get to this one.“
“Okay. *cracks knuckles* Oh sweet Stewby’s. Y’all. We went for lunch and there was a line when we walked in, but it was soooo worth a short 20-min wait from walking in to getting our food. The gentleman who took our order was a southern sweetheart, and the food was just the best. My husband and I are super into casual atmospheres and good cookin’ and this place FITS. THE. BILL. Just stop reading my review and go. Savor every bite.If you want to keep reading this as you make your way over, first off, know that the sweet teas are huge and perfectly brewed, and we got free refills as we walked out. Practically a gallon of tea between the four cups total we got to enjoy. I heartily devoured the fried shrimp dinner with baked beans and coleslaw (I’m particular about my slaw and this was great slaw) The shrimp is tender and cooked to perfection. The batter on the shrimp is simply the best—not too much, not too little, stays on the shrimp, and super tasty. The baked beans were sweet, unique, and truly delightful. My husband ordered the fried fish of the day (Mahi Mahi) with collard greens (to die for) and cheese grits (very yummy). Don’t get me started on the hushpuppies, which were so flavorful and not your standard dry hushpuppies but instead succulent and divine. We basically skipped out of the restaurant. It not only filled our tummies but also our souls. We usually only say grace and thank the Lord before every meal but we thanked the Lord before, during, AND after this one.PS: Stewby’s, we are willing to be unpaid actors for your commercials. Just give us a meal and we will scream your name from the rooftops. God bless y’all for creating such a fabulous restaurant to brighten the lives of the working class.“
“Me and my buddies came today for the first time to eat Chicago style dogs and beefs. I ordered the Maxwell street polish hotdog and my buddy ordered the the Viking polish dog and man oh man. The prices for these size Chicago dogs with friends are amazing, what’s even better is the taste. Met the owner as he was cooking these bad boys up and he is a very delightful person very nice and friendly. Highly recommend coming here to have a bite to eat“
“While visiting I try to always eat local and stay away from chain restaurants. This place is amazing. We ate inside but you can drive thru the building place your food and beer order. The burrito with beef and shrimp was very flavorful. I do feel they were stuffed just a bit too much because they exploded out the other end and I ended up eating it all with a fork because I couldn't get my mouth around it all and very messy. That being said because it was so good will definitely recommend and return. We stoped on a Thursday for lunch and they remained steady with business even after 1. Staff was very friendly.“
“We love a fresh tasting acai bowl any time of the year! Best place to get it at. When it's crowded it can be a wait to order and get ur bowl but so worth it. We love the local bowl with light granola since I share with my son. Cute spot to hang out when it's not crowded.“
“Super small, but so fast. Claimed my bag within 3 mins of getting off the plane. They are all very organized and kind. Ugh I don't remember the guys name who was organizing the baggage claim, but he was providing great entertainment with the microphone while keeping it in line! Not many places to eat but VPS isn't a layover destination so you don't really need to worry bc you can eat before and after!“
