“Went to 5-0 donut co for the first time this week. We bought several types of donuts and an apple fritter. The donuts and apple fritter were absolutely delicious. The staff and ownership is awesome and go above and beyond to serve you and make your experience great. Will definitely be coming back !!“

“My wife and I came to the Ellenton area on our honeymoon. Her local family reccomended we check out Woodys River Roo. It was our first stop and the only repeat stop during our week down here. We went to "The Roo" on three separate occasions and loved each one. The food was great, the view of the manatee river was very nice, but the friendly hardworking staff was the cherry on top. They all really seemed to love each other and worked together like a well oiled machine. They made us feel right at home and made sure everything was just right. Bar tender Johnny, who I belive said had been employed there for 15 years, reccomended a lot of other great places to drink and dine in the area. They also have a gift shop and live entertainment from, music to trivia 7 days a week! 10 out of 10 would reccomend. My wife and I hope to be back sooner than later!“

“The best Thai food in Sarasota-Bradenton! I’ve come here several times, and the food is always incredible. Their Pad See Ew is my favorite ever. I always try an appetizer and I’ve never been disappointed. This time I got the curry empanadas and they were fantastic! The mango sticky rice is also to die for. The service is always top notch. I’m always seated quickly and served quickly, and the staff are so kind and helpful. Highly highly recommend!“

“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

Therefore, no reservations showed when our party arrived. The host was icey, lacked empathy or understanding. He was extremely demeaning and haughty. “We went to the location on Gandy Boulevard today. We were just passing by and saw it so looked up the menu online. At this particular location there was a kiosk to order and no indoor seating. There was a taphouse next-door that had outdoor seating so we grabbed a drink and ate our food there. The portions were large and everything was absolutely delicious! Portions were bordering on excessive! But we powered through some absolutely delicious food! The staff ensured we were well taken care! “Was recommended this place by friends who recently visited, who said how nice the view was and a fun place to go and watch sunset. We weren’t disappointed. Beautiful view, and smart modern restaurant. We were seated after a few minutes while they cleaned the table, and then completely ignored for over at least 10-12 minutes before our server came over, after I asked the hostess who walked past again if we could have our server come and take drinks orders. She eventually came and took drinks orders and practically ignored us after. Needing to stop her to ask if I could have my empty soda refilled, again to ask if we could order food, then again later for another drink. It wasn’t even that busy. She was polite enough but clearly not experienced. It put a dampener on the whole evening, which was a special one for my partner and I. I will return for a second visit, as our friends enjoy it and we enjoyed the view. But I’m hoping the service is improved. Pizza was very nice.“

“I love Oak and Stone and am a frequent customer of the restaurant, specifically this location. It is high quality, the staff are nice, the place is very clean, and the vibes with the beer wall and atmosphere are good. On top of that, pricing is right on par and the app is incredibly easy to use with good rewards. I frequently go run errands in UTC and will stop by here to pick something up. I would also dare say this is some of the best pizza in Sarasota. What’s actually triggered me to write this review is for the first time, I experienced a hiccup with an online order and had a long in person wait time. Not only were the individuals working very apologetic, but the team took extra steps after I received my order to make it right and show appreciation to me as a customer. “Root & Seed Cafe is absolutely my type of place! From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much heart and care goes into everything they do. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the owners are truly such wonderful people.

I also love that everything is made fresh! And the gluten-free desserts are a huge bonus for me. It’s so nice to find a place where I can enjoy delicious, fresh desserts without feeling like I’m missing out.

The noodles and veggies were in a delicious broth, not in a heavy sauce. We also ordered the fried gyoza app which was delicious, and the kids meal was shrimp with fried rice which she said was amazing- and a generous portion for a kid. We will be coming back regularly- love a good sit-down Asian restaurant with a lot of options!“

“One of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve found since moving here!

We tried Dim Sum Kitchen yesterday and were seriously impressed. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we’ll definitely be going back.

The chive dumplings were AMAZING — easily one of our favorites. The crispy spring rolls were so good, and the sweet & sour chicken was excellent. And the Hunan beef… mmmmmmm! 😋 So flavorful and probably the standout of the meal. The crispy fresh vegetables with this dish were my high light… mmm mmmm good.

The only thing that didn’t really do it for us was the egg roll — it was just okay compared to everything else.

Just a heads-up: this is carry-out style, so there isn’t table service, but they do have tables inside if you want to eat there. Honestly, that didn’t bother us at all because the food more than made up for it.

Highly recommend! If you love Chinese food, definitely give this place a try. We’re already looking forward to our next order! 🥟🥢🔥“
