“I am leaving this review more so for management to be aware of this situation that I encountered. On August 28, 2023, 8:44pm, I submitted an order through the Dunkin app for a $15 order of donuts and munchkins. I was at the store at 8:50pm. Even though the store claimed to close at 9pm, when I got to the drive thru speaker, the store was already closed. I drove up to the window and waited until the staff could not knowingly ignore me anymore. Finally acknowledged, they said that they were already closed and had thrown away all the donuts and I would need to cancel my order. Now Dunkin Donuts did handle my return via the app really easily. And the staff, once they talked to me, were very nice. And when I go up there on any other occasion the staff is really nice. It's this time being that the point of the matter is when you say you close at 9pm, then you're open till 9pm. Or if it is normal procedure to close the store 15 minutes before disclosed closing times then I only ask that when submitting online/app orders, that the cutoff time is correlated that way people and myself do not have any experiences like that.“
“I went inside and received fast service, and my drinks and food were out quickly. All the staff were pleasant and working hard taking orders and making sure the place was clean. I didn't use the drive-through, but it was moving, and I could see they were working effectively to get everyone their favorite DD as quickly as possible.I gave 4 stars to the "food" because for a second time, my hot coffee tasted burnt by I'm sure if I complained (didn't have time to go back in), I'm confident they would've remade a new pot of coffee. Overall, it was great.“
“Today was our first visit not realising we were at the closing hour for a little after school treat so we weren't able to experience the atmosphere, but wow were given the greatest options 1 of everything. When told these are croissant like with layers of fluffiness, not a traditional cake or a typical donut...amazing. Thank you so much for treating our girls to something sweet, we will be back for the whole experience including your GF options with coffee.“
“Ok so there exterior marketing is a little cringe, but holly hell is the food good AND well priced.Chocolate donut was good, The donut itself was perfectly semi-sweet.For the entree I got brisket on top of pigtails, their term for spiral sliced potato deep fried. It was amazing and I could barely finish a third of it. I think it was like 12 bucks, I could totally see it. Feeding two really hungry people. Yeah“
“This is truly an iconic place for Sarasota county and Charlotte county it has been open since as long as I can remember family owned and operated l. This place is an absolute treasure to the area. Their donuts are always fresh and delicious coffee. They are a small shop and only take cash but I see that as being a plus it’s like stepping back in time when life was much slower the food was much better and so was the service and company. Definitely a must stop. Such an amazing gem. ❤️“
“Larry's Lunch Box in Englewood, Florida is a hidden gem. Went for breakfast sandwiches and they were delicious. Double Egg and Bacon on Rye with Holy Aioli and Larry's on a round bun. Just amazing. Daughter ordered chicken noodle soup and it was great as well. Be on the look out for Larry's new ice cream and espresso joint when it opens soon. Great food and great people. Five stars.“
