“Mixed Review: Our soup & salad was delicious. My tile fish entree was also very tasty. My husband’s dinner was delivered ice cold when served to him. Very disappointing. El Cote also needs a broader & better quality wine selection. Additionally, we ordered dessert, a blueberry torte to share. The crust was so tough we could not even cut it with a knife! Also they asked when we made our reservation if it was a special occasion and we said yes it was our anniversary. I am not sure why they ask because there wasn’t anything offered to us for our anniversary. A complementary glass of wine, a free small appetizer or chocolates candies at the end of dinner. Just a little something that goes a long way with people & makes them want to come back, plus tell others about their wonderful experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheel chair accessible unless you eat outside.“
“Would have been 5 star but when your NOT homemade dessert that cost more than your meal is ridiculous, so we won't be returning! A shame that a little piece of cheesecake that was clearly frozen off a truck was $13.99 now we know why the price wasn't on the board next to the desserts means you are a sneaky liar, real french food it is not... Just a heads up too all who go here don't order the desserts go to Publix taste better and you can get a whole dessert for cheaper than you can get a frozen slice here! There were 21 of us in our group and none of us would ever order dessert again but almost all of us have put the word out about the desserts and most of us will never return a shame too because when you go somewhere who posts all about french food that has been around for generations your frauding your tradition! Very dissatisfied and disappointed!“
“Whenever we can, we eat breakfast or lunch at Mango Bistro. We sometimes contrive to do something in Englewood (like go to the post office there instead of our local one) specifically so we can go to Mango afterwards. Their food is all fresh and well-prepared, plus they have a wide selection of fresh juice concoctions with or without alcohol. We love just about everything on the menu. Their quiche is great and is accompanied by a huge side salad. All of their wraps, tacos, and sandwiches come with blue corn chips and fresh fruit slices, when available. The staff are warm and welcoming. And we've found the other people who eat there to be friendly as well.Thank you, Mango Bistro, for doing such a great job so consistently!Vegetarian options: They have a separate vegetarian menu.Dietary restrictions: There are many options for those who have food sensitivities. If you tell your server what issues you have, they will either recommend something for you or they will ask one of the food prep people what options they can recommend.“
