The scallop dish was probably the best I've ever tasted (and I come from New Bedford, MA, the scallop capital of the world). My wife was equally pleased with her butternut squash ravioli dish. Our server, Tarvit, was outstanding- very warm, welcoming and professional! Verandah is my favorite restaurant on Amelia Island.
I had my first meal at Verandah during Restaurant Week. It was delicious, imaginative and creative. The service was perfect. I had asked for a quiet table, and we were accommodated.

The food was absolutely extraordinary. All of the appetizers, particularly the aged ham, sourdough mushroom toast, and tapenade spread. The grouper main course was amazing, outdone only by the fresh homemade pasta with duck ragout.
