On this evening, the main courses (fish, chicken) were excellent, but the sides (carbs, veggies) were barely warm. Management was very considerate when billing. Got the seafood platter for 1 and it had big portions where I knew I would need a to go box, wife ordered the crab cake meal and she liked it. “We've been going to The Surf Restaurant for many years and the place has had its ups and downs. We hadn't been there in a long time. But on a recent Sunday evening, our favorite restaurants weren't open, so we thought we'd give The Surf another try. It was great! We had the fried shrimp dinner -- a generous serving of perfectly cooked wild-caught shrimp, and the side dishes were very good, too. Our server was excellent, friendly and attentive. Another employee checked on us whenever she was nearby, and we were impressed by the attention and service we received. The beer was icy cold and our dinners made us happy, including good prices. We will be going back to The Surf!“

“We had a great meal here the other night. We chose to sit outside under the covered patio which was great because the indoor dining area was little noisy. They brought out complimentary bread and an amuse-bouche to start. We ordered the Bone Marrow and Escargot as our appetizer, which was very tasty. I actually prefer this version over the Escargot option at David's. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and selected some wines to complement our meals. For the entree I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon and my partner ordered the Georges Bank Sea Scallops. He said they were some of the best scallops he's ever had. We finished off the night by ordering the Chocolate Bomb for dessert which was also delicious. It was light and rich, and it came drizzled with a raspberry sauce that really enhanced the flavors overall (I'm a sucker for raspberry). We will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.“

“We have only been to stickers Shuckers one other time for happy hour. We are relatively new to the area and just found out about their .99 wing special on Mondays. We just left and couldn't have been happier with our experience! We sat outside and had a beautiful view. Our server, Brent, was so helpful and nice. He told us about the special and other menu items that Shuckers is known for. He even told us about the area itself and special places to check out historic spots. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If you have yet to try out this local gem, go to happy hour Monday -Friday 3-6pm or any other day or time. You won't be disappointed!“

Servers were extremely friendly and accommodating. The shrimp I had was perfect. And my husband loved his lobster. We would definitely eat there again. Highly recommend.“
