“It was a delightful experience that started with friendly valet parking. Both valets were polite, quick and truly made an effort. By chance, we were able to skip the wait and went straight from our car to our table situated in the center of the dining room. All around us were beautiful views of the bay. The vibe was cheerful, yet relaxing. The service was amazing. Kim was so sweet and fun. Her service was top notch. If you’re lucky enough to have her serve you, you will love her!! On top all of that the food was spectacular!! We had the crab cake appetizer and that was so light but yet so flavorful. The menu had many options but not so many that it’s overwhelming. Entrees were delicious. From presentation to the last bite, it was well prepared meal. You have to try the pineapple upside down cake ala mode. The perfect finish to our meal. We will be back!!!”

“I was there with 3 friends on 9/10/22. One of the best meals ever! Our server, Antonio, was wonderful. He took great care of us, made us laugh, and made us feel so welcome. Beautiful setting with the best view of the beach. Wish I could eat there every night, and have Antonio serve us. Grade A”

The restaurant is on the second level overlooking the water and boats.
First off, the service was phenomenal. The host was easy going, took us outside but that was a bit cold with the rain. No issue, moved us inside.
Our server was great. He was attentive but not pushy or overbearing.
We ordered the Octopus and Crab Cakes appetizers. Honestly, the octopus itself had no flavor. I've never had octopus before so not sure there, but the scampi sauce was very good.
The crab cakes were also very good and a good size too.

Overall, I would definitely go back.”

“We love this place! It’s perfect when we are “adults only” but no hassle when we have our 3 little kids. We get the grouper no matter what - on a bun or on a salad, it’s AMAZING!!! We love Diamondhead Resort and the service is always above the rest.”

“Toni, Dominic, Jesse and all the staff at PETEY'S UPPER DECK are AWESOME. Their service is always professional, efficient and friendly.

All the food is awesome. I especially like the pizza, and guacamole with pico. The newly added breakfast is also excellent.

But my favorite is the SHRIMP BURGER. I always ask for it BLACKENED.

The entertainment is always extraordinary.

“The lady who runs the truck is so kind, and the food is amazing. This was my first time having a pupusa and it was a great experience! Definitely try to bring cash if you can though, there are days when the card machine isn’t working properly. But theres wayyy more pros to eating here. Worth every dime!!”

“La Ola Surfside Bell Tower Shops 3-29-25 Stopped by on around 11:15a on a Saturday. We were the first people in to sit at a table. This place was clean, neatly organized and gave us a beachy vibe with all the Reggae music playing throughout. Janet our waitress came over fast and took our drink orders. Once our drinks were delivered, she took our food orders. I ordered the Fish & Chips which came with Fried Fish, Fries & Coleslaw. My wife ordered the Lobster Roll which came with Lobster on a Toasted Bun with Lettice and for her side she got the Coleslaw. Our orders came out in reasonable time and all our food looked amazing. My Fish was light and not heavy on the breading just how I like it. I loved the fish and Tartar Sauce that came with it. The Fries were very good and even the Coleslaw was good as it had some Pineapple in it. My wife loved her Lobster Roll and Coleslaw. She is from Maine and stated it was one of the best Lobster Rolls she had in this area so far. All our food was hot and plenty of it. Janet kept on top of things checking on us a bunch of times. We will return here or stop by Ft. Myers Beach location as to try them all. Everyone needs to stop by and give this place a try you will not be sorry. Our experience at Bongo's Beach Bar & Grill was a great one. Definitely plan on going back in the future. Awesome location for live music. The wings were probably some of the best wings that we have found here in SWFL. The Beverage Manager, Toby, was a delight to talk to. He checked in on us a couple of times, and we talked music with him. Toby made it a personal experience rather than all business. That's exactly what we appreciate when it comes to taking care of customers.”

No hard liquor, but there are a few options for shots - the cherry jello shots were strong & yummy. Beer is pretty cheap - cans & bottles only. Pull tabs give you a fun chance to win.
