“I can't say enough great things about Mellow Mushroom! This is the best pizza in town! Whenever I go I always start with the pretzel bites! So yummy and addicting. Then depending on what I am in the mood for I get a salad or a pizza. The salads are all delicious but my favorite is the Greek or bacon Blue Wedge. If I do pizza I get either the Buffalo Chicken or Pacific Rim. I love the thick crust and basically all of them. Then if there is room, for dessert, the chocolate brownie or cookie with ice cream! 😋 oh and they have vegan and gluten free items! Can't go wrong here! “I was here visiting family and had never heard of Blaze Pizza. I saw on Google that Blaze has a decent rating and the restaurant was close to where we were hanging out, so I decided to place a pickup order online. I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage, a large pepperoni and double cheese, a small gluten free mushroom, and cheese bread.

The restaurant seemed clean. My order was as ready when it was supposed to be. The staff was welcoming. When I got back to my family all of the food was still hot. The flavors were good (I tried all four items that I bought).

Upon looking at my receipt I noticed that I’d been charge a 15% tip which I didn’t know about and certainly didn’t authorize. I tip very well for good service when I dine in, and I am generous with delivery drivers, but I generally don’t tip if I’m picking up my order. I was shocked that a 15% tip would be added to an online order without the consent of the customer. At no point in the online ordering process was the addition of a tip noted.

I called the store for more than 20 minutes but no one answered. I made a complaint online.

The next day I received both an email and a phone call from a manager. They seemed to sincerely want to know what had gone wrong on their end. They were apologetic and compensated for their mistake.

Blaze Pizza certainly needs to address a couple of issues. First, no more automatically charging online customers a 15% tip that they did not initiate. Second, answer your phone.

CROSS CONTAMITION IS HAPPENING! my wife took 1 bite of their pizza and threw up 3x and 2 shits AND her stomach started to hurt within 5 mins! left a review on their Google and the owner wants to call us liars. You don't just get sick like that if there is no cross contaminated food. Gloves are not being changed enough, hands are not being washed enough, utensils are not being cleaned enough or well for that matter and who knows what else. already reported this business for food safety concerns. my wife is a cook, serve safe certified and takes cooking VERY SERIOUS and she instantly knew it was cross contaminated, but again the owner thinks people lie about something like this for no reason. 2+ years of this being a favorite pizza spot to now being the absolute worst we have ever dealt with. also, we have ordered the EXACT SAME PIZZA FOR 2+ YEARS... Cecilian pizza with ONLY BACON & PEPERONI... never once has it ever had CHUNCKY CANNED TOMATOS, CHUCKS OF GARLIC, COOKED SHREDDED LETTUCE HIDDEN UNDER THE CHEESE but owner wants to call us liars about it and says it's always been that way... we know what we eat, clearly this struck a nerve with the owner as it should.... “We love BackStreets fun atmosphere !!! The location is right downtown and they recently did a remodel. The staff and guests are ALWAYS friendly and welcoming. The bar food is really good (I recommend their wings and cheesesteak ). They regularly have live entertainment both inside and outside. And BONUS, they support the community in multiple ways. The menu is amazing, the facility is spotlessly clean, and everything from the table lamps to the napkins to the bottled water is first class. The best thing though, is the service. “We usually swing by for our standard pepperoni pizza, which is decent but nothing to write home about, so imagine my surprise when we popped in yesterday and found a new face behind the counter—a super friendly short lady who was a breath of fresh air! She told us they had cheese, pepperoni, crazy bread, some cheesy bread, and wings all hot and ready. I was blown away; I’ve never seen such a variety! I decided to go for the cheese pizza, and wow, it was fantastic! Whatever changes they’re making, I’m all for it.“
