“It was a delightful experience that started with friendly valet parking. Both valets were polite, quick and truly made an effort. By chance, we were able to skip the wait and went straight from our car to our table situated in the center of the dining room. All around us were beautiful views of the bay. The vibe was cheerful, yet relaxing. The service was amazing. Kim was so sweet and fun. Her service was top notch. If you’re lucky enough to have her serve you, you will love her!! On top all of that the food was spectacular!! We had the crab cake appetizer and that was so light but yet so flavorful. The menu had many options but not so many that it’s overwhelming. Entrees were delicious. From presentation to the last bite, it was well prepared meal. You have to try the pineapple upside down cake ala mode. The perfect finish to our meal. We will be back!!!“

“This place was festive with a very positive atmosphere. The food was really good, especially the crab. The service was very quick. Our server was inspired and really made the whole experience, that of a friend you haven't talked to in a while and just immediately reconnect.“

“Stopped in quick with my wife just to get a drink and a few apps.
The restaurant is on the second level overlooking the water and boats.
First off, the service was phenomenal. The host was easy going, took us outside but that was a bit cold with the rain. No issue, moved us inside.
Our server was great. He was attentive but not pushy or overbearing.
We ordered the Octopus and Crab Cakes appetizers. Honestly, the octopus itself had no flavor. I've never had octopus before so not sure there, but the scampi sauce was very good.
The crab cakes were also very good and a good size too.

Overall, I would definitely go back.“

“We love this place! It’s perfect when we are “adults only” but no hassle when we have our 3 little kids. We get the grouper no matter what - on a bun or on a salad, it’s AMAZING!!! We love Diamondhead Resort and the service is always above the rest.“

“I was there with 3 friends on 9/10/22. One of the best meals ever! Our server, Antonio, was wonderful. He took great care of us, made us laugh, and made us feel so welcome. Beautiful setting with the best view of the beach. Wish I could eat there every night, and have Antonio serve us. Grade A“

“La Ola Surfside Bell Tower Shops 3-29-25 Stopped by on around 11:15a on a Saturday. We were the first people in to sit at a table. This place was clean, neatly organized and gave us a beachy vibe with all the Reggae music playing throughout. Janet our waitress came over fast and took our drink orders. Once our drinks were delivered, she took our food orders. I ordered the Fish & Chips which came with Fried Fish, Fries & Coleslaw. My wife ordered the Lobster Roll which came with Lobster on a Toasted Bun with Lettice and for her side she got the Coleslaw. Our orders came out in reasonable time and all our food looked amazing. My Fish was light and not heavy on the breading just how I like it. I loved the fish and Tartar Sauce that came with it. The Fries were very good and even the Coleslaw was good as it had some Pineapple in it. My wife loved her Lobster Roll and Coleslaw. She is from Maine and stated it was one of the best Lobster Rolls she had in this area so far. All our food was hot and plenty of it. Janet kept on top of things checking on us a bunch of times. We will return here or stop by Ft. Myers Beach location as to try them all. Everyone needs to stop by and give this place a try you will not be sorry. “Great location overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Insanely delicious and fresh food. Loved the buns with spicy sauce. Oysters are so fresh that I wanted to repeat another portion. The ice cream dessert was very nicely decorated, just right for gourmets who can't decide on a taste. Beautiful serving and presentation of food. Original and tastefully selected crockery. Great staff. The only thing that overshadowed our visit was the front desk, as they didn’t want to immediately take us to a table and asked us to wait 20 minutes, given that the hall was half empty and the tables were not reserved. When we asked why we had to wait so long if the hall was empty, we were told that we needed to prepare tables and clarify whether they were reserved by anyone. At the same time, we were not even offered to sit at the bar or go to the waiting area. I didn’t quite understand what caused it and felt uncomfortable, to be honest, I wanted to leave. And please, do not turn off the air conditioners, 30 minutes before the closed restaurant, yet visitors want to finish their dinner with a comfortable temperature Otherwise, everything was top notch, I will be happy to return, and I hope that the reception staff will be more welcoming to their guests“
