“Our favorite did NOT disappoint! For the first time we skipped the oysters for the bacon wrapped shrimp- we ate it so fast I didn’t get a pic…. Delicious, great bacon and even better shrimp! Next up was Cajun shrimp scallop pasta! Oh man- best we have ever had. Smooth cajun cream sauce over ample grilled shrimp and scallops and linguine. Yum!! Had the drink of the day- blackberry mule- perfection. Thanks SOBs for another fabulous evening!!“

“I was there with 3 friends on 9/10/22. One of the best meals ever! Our server, Antonio, was wonderful. He took great care of us, made us laugh, and made us feel so welcome. Beautiful setting with the best view of the beach. Wish I could eat there every night, and have Antonio serve us. Grade A“

“Flippers is the ideal restaurant by the Bay. The scenery, views and the cuisine were simply fantastic. We started with the Calamari and Crab Cakes as appetizers. For our main course, we enjoyed the quesadillas. It's a wonderful spot for both Lunch and Dinner.“

“We had a fantastic Sunday with our feet in the sand, enjoying a great live band. The vibe was perfect, there was a wide selection of cocktails, ice-cold beer, and the food was reasonably priced. We absolutely loved the place!“

“What a great place. We stopped here for drinks and appetizers during a visit. Everything was delicious and our server Jesse was awesome. I would definitely come back.“
“Although the Island View restaurant just recently reopened to customers, it has not fully opened its rooftop bar area but will be open very soon. That being said, the restaurant portion that is open is beyond comparison with its spectacular views and top notch service.
We ordered the chicken wings (jerk style) as an appetizer and the Fish and Chips and a Pepperoni Pizza.
Everything was very flavorful and made correctly.
The menu ranges from pizza to steamed oysters to various other options.
Our waitress, Karmen went out of her way to make our dining experience even more enjoyable with friendly chat and was very knowledgeable about any questions we had about the menu or any local information that we had questions about.
Overall it was a great experience and we enjoyed our visit.
I would encourage anyone to visit the 6th floor of the Lani Kai and try the Island View restaurant. I can’t wait to return and see how they are doing when the other portion of the rooftop restaurant opens.
Edit: I believe the entire rooftop of the Island View restaurant is open as of 11/21/2025.“

“We didn’t know what to expect as the web picture was the old building pre hurricane destruction. Mom is running her business out of food truck. Never had better biscuits ever in my life. Food was awesome as was the service and hospitality. Awesome food and will definitely be back. Hope they can rebuild soon.“
