“Hands down one of my favorite spots! The food and drinks are amazing, but what truly makes this place special is the service. David, the bartender, and April, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—like we were family, not just customers.

David made incredible drinks and was so friendly and attentive, while April made sure everything was perfect and ran the place with so much heart. You can truly feel the positive energy and care from the moment you walk in.

At one time in history this little plaza was a huge hit in Fort Myers during spring training back in the 50’s 60’s and 70’s.
The food is great and the owners who run this restaurant are there to make sure you are taken care of.
Avoid the chains and visit the locals who wish to continue serving traditional Mexican foods.

“I called ahead for a group of 15 earlier in the day and Tequila’s was more than happy to make a reservation for us. We are a Jeep group who’ve dined at many local establishments over the years and it’s always been a challenge to get good food and good service for a group of our size. Tequila’s did not disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious! The service was courteous, attentive and fast! Sara was very friendly and checked on our party several times. We will absolutely be back soon and also highly recommend Tequila’s when choosing your next meal/event. :)“

“Delicious food. My family and I get mucho taco almost once a week and it’s my favorite Mexican food restaurant. Their chimichanga and flauta meal is my absolute favorite, such delicious flavors and quality in every meal and such amazing prices. The workers are all very kind too“

“Stopped by this weekend and it was honestly pretty dope. The different salsas they brought out at the start of the dinner kept us sated as we reviewed the menu. I can’t remember the name of the marg I got but the drink menu is different from the one online! As for food I had the tamales, esquites, and pappitas. I chose the ancho sauce and with a little bit of help from the six different bottles of salsa on the table to choose from, I devoured my plate.“

“Yeah I don’t know why anyone thinks this is not at least semi authentic or quality when I have never had a type of Mexican meal in America that is like this. The salsa, carnitas, sope and tamale were all unique and had a fresh-made feeling. Even the little things like beans are not like your local Mexican American restaurant . Yea it costs more than $12 for a meal but I do not think you will be able to finish most meals. When you pull up don’t worry there is a quaint smaller back seating area.“

“Oh my goodness. What a gem tucked away in San carlos! Sopas were the greatest thing we ordered. The guacamole was fresh and chunky! The burrito was huge! My tosadas were soggy by the time I got home but that didn't deter from how amazing they were. I can't wait to go back!
