At one time in history this little plaza was a huge hit in Fort Myers during spring training back in the 50’s 60’s and 70’s.
The food is great and the owners who run this restaurant are there to make sure you are taken care of.
Avoid the chains and visit the locals who wish to continue serving traditional Mexican foods.

“Such a fun find! I contacted the restaurant mid week and heard back from Omar, who turned out to be the owner. He explained what they would do to accommodate my dietary preferences (plant based, no oil).
I also mentioned my almost 95 YO Dad who is a meat eater but loves meat free veggie fajitas and was very excited about the possibility of Tequila’s pineapple fajitas. I got them as well (modified for me). Husband had a delicious burrito. Guacamole is wonderful too.
Service was excellent and staff sported many smiles.
Servings are generous.
Very good value for the money.
And after watching guests celebrating their birthdays, Dad wants to go for his.
I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“This is an exceptionally fantastic place to dine with reasonable pricing on food items without diminishing the quality of the food. I have known the existing Manager since 2016 when she was my favorite Server (Linda Escobar). She is so worthy of the higest recognition because she is a hands on Manager who often joins forces with the Serving Team to ensure that every Customer receives prompt, friendly, and courteous Service. It's very evident that she has trained her staff members to provide only the best customer service experience. The food is quality is exceptionally good!“

“I was in a bit of a time crunch with just a half hour before boarding, and the place was PACKED. The server that met me told me there was a wait, so I said I’d be willing to share a table if another guest was open to it, and she found me a spot! The server and I instantly became a team and she gave me a high 10 when we were able to get me fed and checked out with five minutes to spare!The fish tacos were truly delicious, and totally hit the spot. The server even filled my clean insulated bottle with fresh iced tea for me to take on the plane.I only wish this place were a bit bigger! They’re located right next to the Jet Blue gates.“

“A Tijuana Flats is a Tijuana Flats. They are pretty consistent no matter which location you go to. This is great when you want to know exactly what to expect and get your same old same old. I really like their hardshell tacos. I get the same thing every time and love their hot sauce bar. I'm not a fan of their salsa but that's just a personal opinion. You can never go wrong at a Tijuana Flats!“
