Everything we ate was perfectly portioned and delicious. Priced very fairly, quaint atmosphere, and excellent staff. This was truly fine dining!
Delicious food, awesome staff, perfect venue. My husband and I came in for a date night dinner. Appetizers, wine, entrees, and dessert were perfectly prepared and served with a smile. Our server, Kat (?sp), was the best! We had the mussels and crab cakes as appetizers. We followed that with the pork chop dish for my husband and the grouper with artichoke for me. We wrapped it up with decaf cappuccino, cheesecake, and French silk pie. We sat out on the patio overlooking the bay....read full review

Bay Cafe French Restaurant serves excellent dishes, including liver and onions, shrimp scampi, seafood with angel hair pasta, and the fantastic grouper wellington, all perfectly prepared by the chef. The restaurant also offers the best French onion soup, flavorful and creamy with cheese, and a new twist on escargot in a puff pastry envelope. Fish dishes like the wonderful Amberjack and a yummy seafood omelet are also available. The service is wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable, contributing to a superb dining experience. Guests can enjoy high-quality food, fair prices, and a comfortable setting, whether indoors or on the patio overlooking the sound. Although a large construction crane may block some views, the ambiance remains inviting, making it a great place to dine.
