We celebrated my parent’s wedding anniversary at the Bay Café. After we left the restaurant our debit card was used by the waitress to steal another tip. When we called the restaurant our waitress admitted doubling her tip. We were stunned that this is a common occurrence. We have many good restaurants in the local area. Bay Cafe French Restaurant serves excellent dishes, including liver and onions, shrimp scampi, seafood with angel hair pasta, and the fantastic grouper wellington, all perfectly prepared by the chef. The restaurant also offers the best French onion soup, flavorful and creamy with cheese, and a new twist on escargot in a puff pastry envelope. Fish dishes like the wonderful Amberjack and a yummy seafood omelet are also available. The service is wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable, contributing to a superb dining experience. Guests can enjoy high-quality food, fair prices, and a comfortable setting, whether indoors or on the patio overlooking the sound. Although a large construction crane may block some views, the ambiance remains inviting, making it a great place to dine.
