The adult flavors are very unique and include alcohol. So yummy! Darrell and Lisa are so friendly; it is nice to have these business owners in our neighborhood.”

“Out of town visitors, noticing a parking lot full of cars was a calling for us to stop. We were not disappointed the restaurant was full of charm and wonderful aroma. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar with locals and have the best female bartender! Forgot to mention…the pizza was amazingly good!”

“We dined there this evening. Wonderful food and very friendly people. They smoke their own meats with Black Jack wood and it is outstanding. Their sides are wonderful, just like mama meant them to be. There are other menu items besides BBQ, but that is their mainstay. The atmosphere is like home, very comfortable, and very positive signs in the restaurant dining area. These are very down-home people who know how to make your tummy happy. Super good place. Best BBQ anywhere around. We are from Texas originally where BBQ is king. This is better.”

This place truly feels like home. The food is comforting, delicious, and made with so much care — the kind of breakfast that reminds you of a home-cooked meal. The portions are very generous for the price, and you definitely leave full and happy.

What made the experience even better was the service. Karen was absolutely wonderful — so kind, welcoming, and attentive. She made us feel like regulars even on our first visit.

“I like the convenience.... that is when the web site and/or the phones work! Last two visits to the Fruitland Park, FL. store, Both were not working. Google website even showed them CLOSED today, 5/27/23. Corporate needs to fix the problem! When we showed up in the parking lot, it was empty! No one could tell they were open. After we parked, it started filling up. If we had not been driving right past the store & decided to stop in... your company would have lost not only our business, but probably a lot of others as well.”

“We had a very pleasant dine in experience. Emerald made our pizzas to perfection. It’s not easy with the gluten free crust but she showed that she could handle it. We asked for double cut and she perfected that as well. The slices almost separated on their own.”

“Outstanding! We eat out breakfast a lot and Candelaria Eatery & Cafe is hands down the best restaurant we’ve tried. The coffee was truly amazing. Rivals the fanciest places we used to go to in NYC. The food is ridiculously delicious. I highly recommend the Arepa Ropa Vieja. I wish I could post pictures with this review. The restaurant is beautiful and super clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very affordable too. I would expect to pay more for such a great experience. 5 stars!”

Also enjoyed lady at front desk nice greeting a smile as we came I and as we were leaving. Error in food was not that bad. A+ on the spinach crab dip loved it so much. We got some to go to have tomorrow at home. One in our group said the chicken sandwich is smaller than what she’s had there in the past but still was delicious. Shrimp was good after we got our original order the guest said delicious in fact. Muffalatta sandwich bun was cold. The inside of the sandwich was so cold. It was cold in the middle. with thin thin slice of ice in the middle of the sandwich coming from Louisiana that one disappointed Me. It had all of the right taste in the sandwich.”

“Server was Tiana. Great service. Breakfast was the worst. They don't offer hashbrowns. Home ? our small frozen dehydrated potatoes, then fried. Biscuit and gravy, the worst ever. Pancakes great. At 940am 10 tables ONE (1) server. Really bad.”

“We tried, for the first time, the Lady Lake location today for lunch. It was fantastic! The service from the moment you walked through the door till you left was well beyond what I expected. The price of their food was great and the portions were large. It was super fresh and we found that when the crew lead came to our table asking us if we’d like a free sample of pulled pork, that it was smoked 14 hours the night before. That pork melted in your mouth! The flavor was really great and the different flavors of bbq sauce were impressive. The French fries are hand cut and fresh. They were delicious. They even gave us a free blueberry cobbler for being first timers and that was amazing! While there, the crew lead asked for everyone’s attention. He mentioned that there were two vets dining that afternoon who both were going to be 100 years old this year!! The outpouring of support, claps and cheer for these man who served was amazing! The crew lead thanked them and all those others for their service, shook their hands and you could feel the thankfulness in the room. What a great experience to have. Between the great food, amazing service and the true honor they show to those who served this beautiful county, they are a restaurant to visit time and time again! We’ll be back!”

“We gave our name and were told, “30 minutes.” After one hour checked and were told, “7 ahead of you.” After one hour and 15 minutes were told, “2 ahead of you.” After watching 4 go ahead of us checked again. Manager said, “ thousands are checking in every day. We’re doing what we can.” After one hour and 45 minutes, and harassment from us, we were finally seated. Very poor experience.”
