This place truly feels like home. The food is comforting, delicious, and made with so much care — the kind of breakfast that reminds you of a home-cooked meal. The portions are very generous for the price, and you definitely leave full and happy.
What made the experience even better was the service. Karen was absolutely wonderful — so kind, welcoming, and attentive. She made us feel like regulars even on our first visit.
Great food, great prices, and genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy, feel-good breakfast. 💛☕🍽️“

“We took our family from out of town to the Sunday brunch last Sunday, and I was embarrassed. We have been there many times for brunch and it was always great. This past Sunday was was not good. We had to wait for service to get a drink, the egg hot plate were empty and it took quite awhile to refill. The pancakes were hard, chicken tenders were dry. I’m not sure why it was like that because in the past it has always been good. The juice tub was pretty much empty, the syrup jar was empty and when I gave it to the young man it took it and walk away, not saying a word. The best was the prime rib, although it would have been nice to have mashed potatoes to go with it. The guy at the carving station did a great job making omelets and carving. It may be a long time until we return.“

“We like Daryl's. I wish they would have gluten-free toast. It's one of the simplest things to stock keep it in the freezer till someone wants it Thank goodness for reveolis cuz we all know we lost Willie Jews. They don't have gluten free anymore. No more french fries and I'm not sure about the meat. They change it with no notice and if you've eaten it like me you know were paying the price for the next week and a half“

“Server was Tiana. Great service. Breakfast was the worst. They don't offer hashbrowns. Home ? our small frozen dehydrated potatoes, then fried. Biscuit and gravy, the worst ever. Pancakes great. At 940am 10 tables ONE (1) server. Really bad.“

“We gave our name and were told, “30 minutes.” After one hour checked and were told, “7 ahead of you.” After one hour and 15 minutes were told, “2 ahead of you.” After watching 4 go ahead of us checked again. Manager said, “ thousands are checking in every day. We’re doing what we can.” After one hour and 45 minutes, and harassment from us, we were finally seated. Very poor experience.“

“We were surprised at how good this restaurant was! Large selection of food choices,and the Shepherds Pie was delicious! The fried shrimp were huge butterfly shrimp with a light tasty batter. The homemade cakes and pies were amazing.“

Love WOB in Brownwood. We had the Bavarian Pretzel - always outstanding. We also had the WOB sampler. The cheese curds were the closest thing to Wisconsin Curds we have had in Florida.

“My favorite Mexican restaurant in Sumter County. Authentic flavors, easy to have a different dish each visit. They do it all wonderfully. But the Burrito Azteca is amazing! Get one and a margarita and enjoy!“

“Thank you Denny's for the free breakfast for Veterans Day. The food was so good and came to the table hot. Our server, Erika was outstanding! She was so sweet, and helpful and kept checking on us and filling up my husband's coffee. We weren't expecting this because of how crowded it was but Erika handled everything with ease. She is the best server we have ever had since moving here. You are lucky to have such a caring employee.“

“After the Beef O’Bradys at Southern Trace closed THS came along to be a pub place I could reach in 10 minutes or so by golf cart. I’ve had numerous meals here since it opened and ask for reliable servers when I don’t sit at the bar. Decent food and a good sports atmosphere. I particularly like the smash burgers.“

“Artman’s is TERRIFIC. I ordered a smoked prime rib and smoked turkey for Christmas dinner. Plus, a ton of sides, etc. Everything was ready at the time of pick-up. The entire staff was extremely helpful and professional in the preparation and explanation of how to re-heat, serve, etc. The prime rib and turkey was BEYOND delicious. Couldn’t have had a better Christmas dinner. Thanks Artman’s!“

“We have been coming here since they opened. And have been very happy. Tonight we ordered our normal number 23., we were told it will be an extra 50 cents to make it a little spicier cooked in. I'm not quibbleing about the 50 cents, but it's never been done before. Just saying.“

Do not waste your time and money...my opinion....some thought it was ok.... crowded, disorganized, no place to sit, food ordered at the register, no staff, slow operation very slow food "handed out." So called garden area dirty with critters dropping from trees. Reuben lunch in the garbage.“

“After golf, 4 of us stopped by, sat at bar. Ricki took wonderful care of us, we had 2 meat loaf meals, 1 fish and chips, and a chicken rice bowl. All were delicious. Place was packed when we left, I would have to say mostly local folks who know a good place. One of our favorite places.“

“Love this place! Excellent drinks, the staff is super friendly and the food is wonderful. We try to order something different every time we come here. I have never had a bad meal at this place. And it makes me want to come back for more! The Texas burrito is only $23 and it is enormous and could feed you for 2 to 3 days.“

“Our friends took us there for my birthday the other night. It was absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. The quantity was just overwhelming overwhelming. The three of us got a bento box and we absolutely loved it. I would go back and get that 100 times over my husband got a teriyaki shrimp dinner which had 12 huge delicious shrimp on it. The prices were more than reasonable and we had an absolutely lovely dinner. What a hidden treasure. We will definitely return.“

“5+ stars to the City Fire restaurant and the amazing HOPE for a fantastic experience and great food. Our 14 year old Akita Wishy was warmly greeted and invited to join us at one of the outdoor patio tables. Hope was SO great with Wishy -- lots of water refills -- and finding out Hope loves dogs and that City Fire is so dog friendly just made our visit that much better. Oh and the French Dip and Burger we ordered were great -- and the Bourbon Sour -- perfect! We'll bring Wishy back for more fun soon -- and we'll be requesting one of Hope's tables for sure!“

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.“

“On July 24, 2025 went to Cheng's with a party of 8. We had a reasonable 10 minute wait and were seated.
Our server got to us promptly with our drinks and took our orders. Our food came out fast and fresh and was delicious.
Half of our group had never been there before and were very impressed, and that's not an easy task.“

“Out of town visitors, noticing a parking lot full of cars was a calling for us to stop. We were not disappointed the restaurant was full of charm and wonderful aroma. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar with locals and have the best female bartender! Forgot to mention…the pizza was amazingly good!“
