“Out of town visitors, noticing a parking lot full of cars was a calling for us to stop. We were not disappointed the restaurant was full of charm and wonderful aroma. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar with locals and have the best female bartender! Forgot to mention…the pizza was amazingly good!“

“We received a gift card for Chop House so my wife and I decided to use it Saturday afternoon. Our waitress Toni Anne was fabulous. She was very attentive and descriptive of the various items on the menu. Her recommendations turned out to be just what we were looking for. The appetizers were brought out promptly. The bread rolls were fresh and hot. The main course arrived just as we finished the appetizers, and while placing the food Toni was very humorous and enlightening about the water and the big steel wheel located near the outside dining area The Prime rib was cooked to our direction and we are looking forward to our next visit. We highly recommend this place.“

Manager said, “ thousands are checking in every day. We’re doing what we can.” After one hour and 45 minutes, and harassment from us, we were finally seated. Very poor experience.“

She was so sweet, and helpful and kept checking on us and filling up my husband's coffee. We weren't expecting this because of how crowded it was but Erika handled everything with ease. “I’ll be honest here. Two years ago we stopped in for a beer and it was just OK. Fast forward a year plus and we’ve been coming here more and more because the service is A+, the beer selection is good, and we had a damn good burger. I saw one of my favorite beers in a can and asked them to put one on ice as I finished a different beer. A few minutes later a bucket of ice was in front of me with my beer buried in it. We had more than enough to eat with leftovers for lunch the next day. Do not waste your time and money...my opinion....some thought it was ok.... crowded, disorganized, no place to sit, food ordered at the register, no staff, slow operation very slow food "handed out." So called garden area dirty with critters dropping from trees. Reuben lunch in the garbage.“

“When you enter this cafe you get a good hometown feel and welcome. Not the big box franchise fast food vibe. Good basic breakfast freshly cooked. Non stop coffee refills - no need to ask as they continue to flow. Staff are genuinely friendly and happy to serve you. Prices are very reasonable (half of what I paid at another location for the same breakfast). I highly recommend you checking out the restaurant.

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.“

“Miso Soup had a lot of flavour which is always a treat! Not to salty either! House Avocado Salad was absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh and healthy! Really hit the spot and also for a salad, it was filled with flavour! Sweet Potato Roll was also a delightful lunch the following day and the texture/consistency of the rice was amazing as it never fell apart! Would recommend to everyone! Also quite reasonably priced“

“It was evening and I had the chicken sandwich, which was edible and hot, but not quite fully cooked. We also ordered a waffle. The waffle station was a bit of a mess, but the waffle was fine.
In general, the kitchen area was pretty unkept and dirty — not up to the usual Waffle House standard. Overall, though, it was a satisfactory trip.

“2024 UPDATE: Came by again for lunch. Staff was still super nice, fast, and food was still decent. I'm still not a super fan of the sauce, but it's good, and the pizza is a little thin for my taste. All in all, a really good little stop and prices were realistic.

2020: Food was pretty good, and the servers were really nice. The pizza sauce is not my favorite but not bad. Entrees were really good, though, and the place seemed clean.“

“First time we went in to eat a pizza with our favorite topping caramelized onion and roasted red pepper 🌶️ it was absolutely amazing 💯 the next two times we went in and ordered it to go with the same toppings, but they do not load up on the toppings that you purchase if you’re taking it out and the crust is softer, I guess it depends on who is making them that day. Love the service though and decor 👍 just some advice when somebody orders toppings be a little bit more generous and make sure each piece of pizza has them on!“
