“My best friend and I have been dying to try Fufu and Egusi because it’s been all over TikTok and when I stumble upon this place and read all the reviews we knew we had to try it ! We’ve have similar food before like Brown Stew Chicken but not from this place ! We ordered the Fufu and Egusi, Brown Stew Chicken with Jollof Rice, Cabbage, and we were lucky enough to try their Mac & Cheese (which was also raved about), and I ordered their Okra Soup with Fufu & their raspberry leaf tea ! For starters I usually never finish my drink before my food comes but this raspberry leaf tea WAS SO DELICIOUS AND REFRESHING ! I ended up getting another one before leaving. The Fufu and Egusi, Okra Soup, Brow stew chicken, Mac & Cheese, and Jollof rice DID NOT DISAPPOINT! My best friend and I love FLAVOR and their food was not short of it ! The owners were amazing and even offered to let us have a sample before ordering but we just went ahead and ordered an I’m glad we did. Like I said we’ve had brown stew chicken from other places but this chicken was so delicious and the Jollof rice had such a perfect amount of heat that went so well with the chicken and Mac & Cheese. We’ve never had fufu, Egusi, or okra soup before but let me tell you it by far exceeded our expectations. Like I said we’ve been seeing it all over TikTok and we were hoping it wasn’t just a “trend”. THEIR FOOD DESERVES ALL THE HYPE. The owners, the food, and the tea was all amazing and we will definitely be back! This place a the owners deserve all the credit for their hard work and delicious food ! You can really tell they love what they do and it for sure shows in their food !“

“We are beyond thrilled with the experience Tinker gave us for our wedding! They catered a beautiful buffet for us, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests absolutely loved the food! What made it even more special was the kindness and friendliness of the entire staff. They made us and our guests feel so welcome and taken care of, handling everything with such warmth and professionalism. I want to give a special thank you to Karen who was so accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process. Being able to celebrate right at the restaurant created the perfect atmosphere. We were able to relax in an intimate setting and truly enjoy our guest and wedding. Tinker truly went above and beyond to make our day stress-free and unforgettable. We are so grateful to the entire team and would highly recommend Tinker to anyone looking for incredible food, outstanding service, and a beautiful space for their celebration! “My first time trying Venezuelan cuisine! Wow! I want more! I had a chicken empanada and fried plantains. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the sauce! OMG! and the plantains were out of this world! If you're in Gainesville, I highly recommend giving this a try! You won't be disappointed!“

“Tried Los Tacos de mi Abuela for the first time today. Their steak taco was delicious and full of flavor. Their chicken taco was pretty good, but I definitely liked the steak taco better. Their fries are hand cut and take some time to get, but totally worth the wait. FYI, they do not have Coke or Pepsi products. I will definitely stop by again next time I see the Los Tacos de mi Abuela food truck. They have a picnic table if you cannot wait until you get home to eat.“

“great food in an authentic style Mexican restaurant. the food is very good for such a small place in a strip mall. I will definitely be back. the steak fajita nachos were outstanding. the proportions were huge. I took more than half home to eat for dinner after filling up for lunch.“
