I'm a bit more traditional, usually choosing between two or three dishes. My choice was delicious, and out of all my usual haunts at home when we do Chinese, the most flavorful. I used to manage restaurants for many years before I switched careers, and have been slightly disappointed that some service standards seemed to have gone by the wayside. Still, our service was good, and our server was very efficient.“

“This is the best pizza in Gainesville! Last time I got their hot honey pizza with pepperoni and green peppers, it was awesome! We also spoke to the manager for a while as he was doing some maintenance work next to our table, he was super kind to us. If you only have one night in Gainesville, you can't go wrong here!“

“Absolutely amazing service! I came here for the second time and took my friend who had never been for his birthday. All the staff members were incredibly sweet, especially our waitress Jimmy Bynum. He was incredibly social and also very polite. They even brought out cookies and a candle for my friend’s birthday. Even better that we happened to come at the same time as Coach Spurrier for dinner. Overall great staff, amazing food, and great environment.“

“The gluten-free crust is something I’ve been missing for the 13 years I have been gluten-free. It is thick and flaky and absolutely delicious. I would love to know the recipe! I had Vegan cheese, spinach, tempeh and pepperoni. I was surprised they even had gluten-free pepperoni! It was the best pizza I have ever had and I just wish I lived in Gainesville so I could get it all the time! My only negative is that I wish they had more seating and more comfortable seating. I don’t usually like to sit outside to eat, but they do have a big area out back for that. Thanks again! When I come back to Gainesville in a few months, I will definitely be coming by!“

“Happening place, very busy, staff was great and cordial, made some good recommendations. Very well prepared dishes, my daughters and I enjoyed the food very much. What could have been better? The air conditioning was running at full capacity and it wasn’t enough fresh air, specially at our table close to the open kitchen. It’s early August so it’s understandable. I’m coming back again later this fall!“

The staff was finishing my order and I decided to eat there since no crowd. I had the Thai chicken salad and a strawberry banana smoothie. The chicken tasted fresh and was still warm. The smoothie was delicious. Also, when I ordered, there was a special 'pick 2' so the total price was not much more than the salad alone.“

Treat yourself to the best waffle in town. Crisp outside with light fluffy center. Not heavy at all. Real shrimp and grits worth the wait for cooked to order meal. “Fabulous!!! It was my first time there. My daughter and I went to check it out since she recently just moved there. Absolutely LOVE the front patio. Even with the traffic on Archer, it was a great atmosphere. Our waiter was fantastic. So pleasant and nice. The people making the food were great as well. I paid cash and noticed there was no tip jar. Can you please put one, they truly do deserve it for the service and speed they prepare everything. Great job to all of them!!!!“

Great selection for sure and everything from the Sammies to the beer is inexpensive. Cash only to give you heads up but there is an ATM inside. So worth it!!!!“

“The Mint was delightful... The three restaurant people that were there today were each so nice. I particularly go for Indian food on Sundays, and they even had a little conversation with me. I'm so glad that this restaurant is here in Gainesville!!! The prices at the Mint are very reasonable, whereas most prices everywhere have shot up sky high. I ordered the dosa masala, and the sambar soup and the coconut chutney were delicious. The sambar even had a hint of cinnamon, just a hint, and it could not have been better. I ordered the garlic naan and the bread is not a large size portion but it is plenty when you are paying $2 and change. I think that the restaurant works largely by the several delivery services. There are 3 big long tables there for families and single tables also. The dining area is not very big at all but it is sufficient for good food and good people serving you. Amy.“

Not speedy, because everything is fresh-made, right down to the wontons in the wonton soup. Dishes are very nicely spiced rather than slathered in sauce.
