“VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. They deceive people. In the photo they put a combo and then when serving it they say that it doesn't work like that. That's scam. I complained to them and they said it wasn't going like that and that's it. The combo came with Chips and guacamole. I spoke to the manager and she said they were NOT going to give them to me. But I assure you that McDonald's is missing some fries and so they do complain. They made me look bad with an American friend I brought. I'll never go back again.“

“If you follow my reviews, you would know I have raved of my favorite taco spot elsewhere. I have since then moved down to Gibsonton and have embarked on a journey of taco truck hopping. If you frequent US Hwy 41 you would know what I mean. I have gone from Big Bend up to Symmes trying all the taco trucks along both sides of the road. One day I decided to go past Symmes. I found this truck, Marife, in a gas station. And I am so glad I did. Meat is always freshly made. Veggies are always fresh and crisp. Her sauces are made fresh with ingredients sold by a local neighbor of hers that has a market as his sole source of income. I know this because she didn't have salsa Verde for back to back visits and when I asked she explained she likes to support him and he is out of the ingredients she needs to make her sauce. Her humility and ability to make some top notch tacos, sopes, and gorditas have earned my money and respect. The prices are extremely cheap and realistic. She takes cash and zelle for forms of payment.“

“It was my First time eating here and it was so good! The portion sizes overall were a great size for the price. Around $55 with Uber eats Texas delivery charges, and driver tip. I had the Birria quesadilla, the large portion of rice, Chips with queso, Tres leches cake, and the Horchata for my drink. I was hungry and I wanted to get the full experience of what the restaurant had to offer. Leftovers are always a bonus! For my first order, I ordered for delivery on Uber Eats. Despite being delivery, Everything was hot, fresh and well packaged. I will say the Birria quesadilla was a little soggy on the bottom, but it tasted fantastic! Some of the best Beria I’ve had. The queso tasted homemade, flavorful, fresh and delicious! The portion of the tortilla chips, took up an entire brown paper bag full! (in my opinion when I order Mexican food for delivery and I see a big brown paper bag stuffed completely full of seasoned tortilla chips, that’s how I know the rest of the food is going to taste amazing!) I love the small detail of the seasoned chips. It’s like putting sprinkles on a cupcake. It’s not needed, but it makes it better. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. My Birria quesadilla came with small sides of guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Even though the food didn’t need it at all and was flavorful and delicious without it. A few small critique I can give is that Tres Leche cake piece that I got was extremely small unfortunately, which I wasn’t expecting. It was only three small bites if that, but it was really delicious! My second critique is, I wish they offered a bigger cup of Horchata like they have the larger option for the Rice. Horchata is one of my favorite drinks, but honestly I can’t complain too much because everything including the Horchata and Tres leches cake was so good! I guess my only complaint is that there wasn’t more Horchata and Tres Leches cake. The slightly soggy texture of the Birria quesadilla I contributed to the fact that it was delivered still hot in a Styrofoam container, & I don’t consider that the restaurants fault. if I was giving a rating I would still give it a 10 out of 10. 100 percent! I will be eating here again, these small critiques that I have would not even change my rating! And I have leftovers so there’s some bonus points!Delicious food with overall large portions for the price!You guys did a great job! “Had the taco trio; pork beef and brisket. “Shia la Beef” (brisket) was my favorite but all were fantastic! Chips and queso were bland to me but I added pico and ate with my tacos. Ah-mazing nonalcoholic horchata and great friendly staff that took care to avoid my avocado allergy. Wonderful 🤌“

“My husband and I drive up to this area to MTB ride and this spot was somewhere he ate at a loooong time ago, so we decided to try it out together.

The food was excellent! Authentic Mexican food. Lots of flavour, good size portions and freshly made juices. We had the chicken burrito, shrimp tacos with corn tortilla shells and chile tatemados. Everything was fresh and didn’t take long to come out the kitchen. We washed everything down with a horchata and a freshly squeezed pineapple juice. Both were so good! The size of the drinks are ridiculously huge! 20oz I believe, and well worth the price. Also……free refill with the juice! 😳 I actually asked the waitress how much for the to-go juice since we paid already and she said it’s free! I don’t know of any other place that gives you a free refill of homemade juice.

Overall, the place was clean and nicely decorated, and we had a great meal for less than 40 dollars. The waitress was friendly and attentive and I just have to mention that the bathroom was immaculate! The huge TV on the outside patio looks like they have some epic gatherings in the evening 😄 And one more thing, they don’t serve any kind of alcohol.

“I moved to Tampa 9 months ago from Los Angeles… and was very dissappointed with the taco culture here… so much so that I avoided trying El Primo because i was tired of being disappointed. I was passing by today and decided to give it a chance and im so glad i did. Hands down thee best and most legit tacos in Tampa Bay. The tortillas are legit, the barbacoa, chorizo, and al pastor are legit, and you can tell whoever’s making the food actually loves what theyre putting it out. Glad i found this place. “A humble fast casual restaurant with really nice staff and the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had! This is no Americanized menu. There are tacos, quesadillas, sopes, and tamales, and each one looks better than the last. You can even have a bowl! The tortilla was crispy, the mozzarella cheese was generous, and the chicken was delicious! The chicken was chopped into small pieces, sauteed in something incredible, and had fresh cilantro sprinkled on top. Whenever I'm close by, I'll be eating here and trying their sopes next!“

“Really good food and service by Zak on a Saturday afternoon! We can’t wait to return! Zak knew the menu inside and out and the drinks. His recommendations for the picadillo taco, grouper and sweet potato and the tacquito and charro beans and potatoes as sides were spot on! And so friendly and accommodating. Whoever write Chipotle is better doesn’t have a great taste palette or appreciation for authentic corn tortillas and delicious food - there is no comparison! “Came here and ordered the birria tacos, elote, a carne asada rice bowl and two of the auga Frescas. By far the best tacos I’ve had at a food truck and the drinks are so fresh and flavorful. My husband got the rice bowl and absolutely loved it, they packed it so full he couldn’t even finish it! The customer service was A1 they are very polite and our food came out in less than 5 minutes!! I highly reccomend Mandos if you’re looking for a great Mexican spot that’ll leave you satisfied every time.“
