“Nice. Just visiting the area. Discovered this place by lucky chance. In business for 57 years, they make one type of sub (toasted Italian) all the way. You can subtract toppings if you want. It was simply great! Order inside a small shop. Two picnic tables to eat on outside, best for quick lunch, eat in car or a call in/pick up. Would absolutely stop here again.“

The man on the phone was so polite, friendly and efficient! Noon on a weekday and still 10-15 min only for pickup. The soup that day was cream of asparagus and it was SO GOOD. Perfectly wrapped to be transported safely home and piping hot. I went with the egg salad on a whim and it was perfection. My friend had the turkey Rueben and loved it too! Both came with a wrapped pickle for the sandwich and crackers for the soup. All very fresh, homemade and tasty. Additionally the prices were fair and Al the sandwiches came in a half or whole size and soup a cup or bowl. Will definitely order here again! (Also plenty of easy parking for Togo!)“

The Cuban was very large (like 2 regular size) and had lots of meat. It was terrific. The devil crab was pretty mushy, not the best. The service was very quick and efficient. A large menu with authentic cuisine littered with non authentic choices plus a vegetarian option which was welcomed! The food was plentiful and arrived quickly! The patrons were equally paired for a Valentines celebration. The beer garden was truly where I'd had liked to have sat, yet where we did sit was equally nice! We enjoyed our visit! Appetizers, main entrees and desserts with a full bar and authentic German beers. I'd hoped to see beer being served in German beer steins & wait staff dressed in authentic German attire... so I was a tad bit disappointed, yet still a 4/5 star event and food was well prepared and many options. Pricey yet not overly so, food is largely portioned and many were leaving with their leftovers in tow! Located on the edge of the Mass Ave trail of yumminess so that was a nice stroll to take after eating such a heavy cuisine!! So just expect to wait 15 minutes depending on what time you go there.Parking: There's about 10-15 spots to park. If people are considerate there can be even more spaces.“

The only reason I am giving it four stars is because when I get a pressed Cuban, I like my meat to be hot. The meat on my sandwich was still cold, which is most likely because 1. There was a lunch rush and they got me my sandwich pretty quickly, 2. The sandwich is HUGE so it would take awhile for the meat to get warm/hot as well.
