“Great Breakfast Finally! A place where all parts of the breakfast were great. The eggs were right. The ham was thick and well seared. The grits, almost impossible to find good ones in Pinellas County, were perfect—not gummy, not watery, not bland. Service was friendly and efficient. The place is busy and lively and mostly clean (bathrooms could stand an updating.) Prices were fair. I will gladly return.“

“Ate there twice in 2 days. Had a burger/fries day 1 and burger cooked to perfection. I only ordered a small fry but the amount was insane. Didn’t have room to take leftovers. Day 2 I tried a hot dog and was pleased with the grilled flavor. The service was excellent from the time entering to leaving the establishment. They were considerate and wanted feedback on the food and their performance. I will be returning without a doubt.“

The food isn't too greasy.
The staff are well trained, polite, and courtious.

“We come in every two or three weeks (usually for breakfast) but today for lunch. We always request Avery. Today we were pleasantly surprised that she was still here at noon. She always takes good care of us and we always have a few good laughs as she has a great sense of humor and a fun personality. The entire staff is friendly and professional but we will ALWAYS ask for Avery first!“

She had such a charisma and positive aura about her and she made my experience more than pleasant. Employees being genuine is hard to come by in 2025. “very disappointed in my Five Guys burger from Clearwater mall today. I ordered extra BBQ sauce and I didn't get any at all... instead I got a dry burger and I was so looking forward to my lunch today, I might as well have gotten McDonald's I was so disappointed with the burger...and the fries were super cold as well. During this time i understand things are unusual but your quality of service should be even more important right now. I regret leaving a tip.“

“Such a great vintage neighborhood dinner with an eclectic menu that separates it from other spots. I had the shrimp and grits which had a lovely presentation and was super delicious. They apparently are well known for their biscuits—can’t wait to go back to try them! The price point is fair when you consider the quality of the food. There is an also an express menu with biscuit items if you wanted to keep things on a budget.

Super friendly counter service also like a traditional dinner.

The interior is really well decorated with Knick-knacks and as the name implies, tchotchkes. Definitely has an old Florida vibe for the decor.“

They could have used a little more crunch but definitely a crowd pleaser! The mac and cheese was killer and fries were perfectly fried! My husband ate most of the nachos on the drive home (we live 5 mins away! 😵‍💫) he raved about the chips and the great portions of toppings! Excellent spot, will definitely be back!“
