We ordered a fritay platter with a whole snapper, fried ribs, Akra, diri (rice), and banan (fried plantains). That fishhhhhhhh… omg. Usually we drive to north Miami for a whole fried snapper but I can confidently say I’ll be saving gas from now on! The owner (who was super sweet and attentive by the way) was not lying when she said she doesn’t have competition and knows we’ll be back. We decided to eat there and she checked on us multiple times and made friendly conversation. She for sure has regulars.. there were several people who came to pick up food and she greeted each of them warmly and remembered each and every one. And you can tell it was genuine. It’s a food truck so there is limited outdoor seating but plenty of parking. We will 100% be back and in the very near future. Oh and did I mention it’s a woman owned business?? The bride and groom were so pleased with the intimate setting.The evening was kicked off with an open bar of beer and wine, and Michael provided great selections that everyone in the group was very happy with, but the kicker were the crab cakes appetizers! Yes, there were other appetizers that were delicious, but those crab cakes were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, there was no cucumber-tomato salad but I bought some chicken tenders and beets salad.I ended up buying my groceries for the week. Lazaro, the guy from the deli department, made me a delicious turkey sandwich.
